great product
This is the best hair product ive ever owned. I struggle to style my hair and for it to stay curled ect, but have no problem with this. as my hair is quite thin, it wont keep a curl for long, but the babyliss styler curls my hair for hours, no issues!!!

Amazing
Had previously impulsively bought these without reading reviews at full price (£125) from a high street retailer and was not disappointed neither was my teenager so when I stumbled across them on Amazon for £48 I didn’t hesitate to buy another pair so that now myself and my daughter can both have our own pair. They look and feel like a well made high quality product. They work equally as well as the GHDs the original pair was purchased to replace and we love how they heat up really quickly and the plates are rather wide so you can cover much bigger sections of your hair when straightening and it takes much less time. (We both have rather thick curly hair and these manage to straighten our hair really well). The fact that you can also create nice curls scores them extra points.I would warn the first time I used them I did end up catching my forehead with the curler part of the plate however I figured out incredibly quickly how to hold them correctly so not to repeat making that mistake again. Not going to deduct any stars for this as I’m incredibly accident prone and easily distracted so this was probably more related to that especially since my 13 year old has managed to remain injury free from using them.Highly recommend these especially if they are still on offer for £48, you won’t be disappointed at all.

Really good titanium straighteners!
I really like these straighteners! I've been using corioliss mark 2 (also titanium plates) for years & theyre still good but ate getting older so thought I'd buy some more. I dont like GHDs as hate ceramic; titanium is sooo much better. Corioliss mk 3 out of stock everywhere...annoying...but I stumbled across these....they were on offer (£50 half price) and the reviews looked good so I thought I'd try them.PROS:Firstly, I agree with the other reviews that state they make a buzzing sound; its not overly loud but obvious enough. It doesn't bother me at all. They heat up quickly & I like the variations in temperature. I've been using at 210° & works fine for me.My hair is course, thick, highlighted (dry) & naturally wavy. I generally only wash twice a week & always tie back & dry naturally (unless in a hurry) I then run straighteners through it when dry. These did a good job of gliding through the hair; not as effortlessly as the Corioliss but still good & far better than GHD's or other ceramic. Hair wasn't snagged or pulled at all. I reduce the temperature to low when I straighten the sides to minimise damage & my hair was still lovely & straight, soft too.Negatives; they get BLOODY HOT! They come with 2 small rubber ends to use when curling to allow you to touch the ends...not used to curl yet but i would imagine that I'll likely lose these black stoppers when I do! Not sure why they made them removable? If you touch any part of the metal you will burn so go careful! I would imagine they'll curl the hair well though because of this!Another bad part is the temperature control being on the handle...i haven't managed to accidentally press it but it feels as if I might do....bit of a crap design...All in all, these are a great titanium straightener/curling wand. I highly recommend these for a budget pair. However, they're not as good as my corioliss titanium ones but they're less than have the price & do a great job so give these a go if you don't have £140 spare x 😉

It’s perfect
I had exactly the same one in silver for around 8 years. The cord got damaged and sometimes not work, so i decided to get a new one.First of all, THE BUZZING NOISE IS NORMAL!! Read the instructions, it mentions it. My old straightener makes the same noise.Second, if you can’t be careful with a hot tool, don’t get one. I never had a problem with it being hot on the outside as i use the grips that are provided with the hair straightener. You also get a heat mat.I absolutely love it, as it does both jobs, straightens and makes lovely curls. Has a sleek design and heats up quickly.Definitely recommend.

Horrible!! It stopped working after a few months
Don’t waste your money on this! It was completely fine for a few months and then it stopped working all of the sudden, no idea what happened. The straightener is alright, but not worth the money if it’s only working for a few months.. plus the outside part is warming up sooo much, burned myself a few times.

A great curling tool
This is a great straightener/curler that's easy to use and does the job at a much better price than a GHD! Like other reviews have mentioned it does make a bit of an odd sound once it's on and warmed up (like a soft buzzing), but I barely even notice it anymore and it doesn't affect its use at all. I use mine on the lowest heat setting and it gives a nice sleek result and some good curls that last really well if I take the time to pay attention to each hair section properly and prepare my hair (I have thick, wavy hair). I haven't burnt myself using it but you do have to be mindful to only touch the ends - with the rubber caps on! - when you're curling. I also like that the protective mat has a sleeve area, so I just lock the plates together and slip it straight in after using it and let it cool down that way. For the price I'm really impressed and happy with it and definitely recommend it.
