These punches are poorly finished. All three have defects in the shaping of the tips. Neither the center or prick punch comes to a clean point. The starter punch has a distinct ridge around the punch about 3/4" back from the tip. Just sloppy, and disappointing showing for this supposedly great US manufacturer. [UPDATE- 2nd set] Returned the first set and tried another from a different seller. The painting and printing on the handles is worse; the tips are a bit better--the starter punch is almost smooth and the prick punch comes to a point; the center punch is better but still is too dull to use as received.

Just look at the "DASCO" logo... all three logos are printed differently. One of the logos is at an angle, another has paint bleed on the logo. Mine also arrived with paint chips all over, will likely cause them to rust over time. Not happy with these punches...also because of paint chips, some of the edges are rough/sharp so not comfortable to use. I don't use often, but still, I expect more from a USA company.

Quality build, the Punches are a bit thick. Nothing on this is particularly sharp so it might slide from the intended spot before even hitting it with a hammer. Works as promised though!
