I have hung a bunch of cable in my backyard for lights. This was an easily accesible way to hang the cable. Even works well for cable thats slighly heavier duty than what is provided. Youre still going to need some hand strength to crimp these really tight. But this is probably the most economical way to do it. So far Im pretty happy. No failure yet and it made it through my limited use.

This is hands down the best way to hang pictures, indoors or out. The wire rope is just the right size, and the crimps make it very secure. So much easier than any other way. I use it indoors for pictures. I also use it outdoors to hand my wife's garden stuff. Its weatherproof and strong. The cable is thin enough to be inconspicuous. Outdoors I sometimes wind twine around the cable for a more organic look.The tool cuts the cable easily, and cut some heavier cable I had in the garage from the garage door springs. The crimper isn't designed for larger cable, perhaps one size larger sleeves, so its not appropriate for heavy duty use.The price is excellent, there is enough cable for a hundred or more pictures!
