Laughing Man Hugh's Blend, Ground Coffee, Medium Roast, Bagged 12 oz

I had been wanting to try this coffee since it first came out. I am so glad I did. I got the Hugh's Blend, mostly because I love Hugh Jackman, and it is the best, reasonably priced, coffee I have ever had. When I buy reasonably priced coffee (between $4 and $9) I usually buy Starbucks or New England Coffee Company coffee. (I find those 2 the best for the buck). However, I normally drink organic specialty coffees from brands that source from sustainable, trade free farms and have high corporate social responsibility. Laughing Man Coffee really is right up there with them. I would rate this coffee 4th in my wheel house of coffee companies.That being said, I would highly recommend trying this coffee, especially if you are on a tight budget and can't afford specialty coffees, and it is 100x better than Starbucks brand! I plan on trying the whole range of this coffee brand in the future.

My son bought this coffee. I ask to try a cup. I told him coffee was coffee. Boy was I wrong, this coffee was so smooth and had a wonderful nutty taste. I apologized, best coffee I've ever had. Never paid 20 dollars for coffee before, but this stuff is great and worth it

While currently near the Middle East for sime time (with some distance between me and Iraq), the local shop has some pretty bad choices. If I am lucky, they will at least have Folger's or Dunkin (which I am not fond of).So I ordered two different coffee brands to try while out here; Laughing Man and Black Rifle (fair trade or veteran owned). While Black Rifle (BR) was pretty good, Laughing Man was actually better! I believe it was not as overpowering or acidic as BR, but it was more subtle (with a good taste) and smooth. Easier on the stomach during the long days.And fair trade. That is something I can support!

The coffee: great! The price: great! The brand: great!The way it was shipped to me... not so great. The bag was completely flattened out and it seemed like it was vacuum sealed. When I tried to open it I noticed there was a hole in the back of the bag so coffee went EVERYWHERE. Not sure if the hole was made during shipping or if I accidentally somehow caused the back of the bag to bust while opening.If it gets shipped to you completely flat I recommend cutting the bag open and putting it in a new container instead of trying to open and keep the coffee in the bag like usual.

Laughing Man Hughes blend is the best tasting coffee I've ever had. Sam's Club did carry it but stopped last year so had to find it online and that's been hard. K cups run high dollar and the ground went up to twice as much. Would love to find a store that carrys it. Sam's Club should bring it back. It's the best and I don't really want to buy anything else. It's that good!!

Have to admit that I tried Laughing Man Coffee because of the Hugh Jackman/Ryan Reynolds spoof promo for each other's businesses. And like in all the things Hugh Jackman does, it's is the best. I'm not a drinker, Sorry Ryan.Originally, I bought the Laughing Man k-cups at Costco and after trying it, I was surprised it wasn't some bland, generic coffee with a celebrity name attached to it.( I guess I would put it more as an affordable upper end brand, now available pretty much everwhere.)Bought the ground next, so in the ground form, I would have more options like using it in a French press, espresso maker, in a Keurig with a reusable k-cup or just a plain filtered cup.I'm not sure how it compares to the prices of other coffees, but I'd guess it's not like the $4-$5 you'd spend at an ubiquitous Starbucks.I've decided to stop going to Starbucks for awhile now and I give away cards given to me. Mostly because of the declining quality in their coffees, the lines waiting for to order, the lines waiting as the quantities of the specialties are made and then waiting for your name to be shouted out.For the time it would take me to go get coffee at Starbucks, I can make a cup of Laughing Man coffee I can enjoy at my own home, not in my car, rushing to work because the line at Starbucks was extra long that morning and hoping I don't spill it in a rush trying to get to work on time.Laughing Man coffee may take a little effort by actually having to make it yourself, I hope as more people try it, they'll remember how to enjoy coffee again. (Get yourself a foamer, they're worth it, and whatever flavor you've decided you want to turn your coffee into. I still like my coffee to taste like coffee)I really do hope more people try it. I enjoy it very much and it's worth every quiet sip in the morning before heading out for the day.Maybe it also has to do with the proceeds going back to programs that help the coffee growers and their families with their health, growth and success.This review wasn't meant to offend anyone, I respect all coffee lovers, even those devoted to Starbucks, as my best friend is. It's just the opinion of one person who loves coffee and can't make it to Europe where they make the best coffees in the world.

I remember trying Laughing man coffee a few years ago when it launched and the K cups were the deal of the day, they tasted awful (Perhaps a bad batch!)Saw a recent hilarious ad on Instagram with Ryan Reynolds and figured for $8 I'll try the ground variant. I am very happy to say that this coffee is absolutely delicious! Full bodied and great overall flavor, it really is a great coffee. I haven't been able to find Hugh's blend in whole bean but I will keep looking.I will absolutely purchase more bags in the future, great job Hugh!

I love my coffee, I have to give it to Mr. Jackman- this is a lovely blend. It's smooth and I don't have indigestion after drinking it. The flavor is great! I've ordered and tried two other flavors but the ,"Hugh's Blend" is my favorite! I wish they sold this at WalMart (You can purchase it also through the website) it's where I originally found them in the pods. But after Walmart quit selling those I went on the hunt and found it here! Great price for a great taste and wonderful coffee! About to have to order more! I better start a subscription!
