The donuts are not the only way to make a bun, of course, but they're super useful to assist with a few particular types- more than you'd think. If you want to get some ideas, I highly recommend hitting YouTube- it isn't just the traditional donut bun that these can help you with, there's a lot you can do using these donuts.These donuts come in varying sizes, obviously. They aren't cheap, they definitely provide the amount of resistance I need from them when I'm working with my or my daughters' hair. I definitely appreciated that the set came with bobby pins and hair elastics, although for me the donuts were the main payload.The pricepoint for all of these is beyond reasonable. To get 10 donuts, hair elastics, and bobby pins for less than $8 is a no-brainer!

I really enjoy using these hair buns to make my buns. The end results are a professionally looking bun that visually looks perfect. I enjoy how my hair buns look full and plump instead of small and twisted together. Everything you need to make you bun is within this kit starting with hair ties to hold your hair then applying the bunmaker followed with spreading your natural hair over the bunmaker and ultimately holding it with another hair tie. The look is elegant and professional.

This is a great little set. I love all the different sizes and how it gives you the opportunity to do all different kinds of hairstyles. You can even use the smaller ones to make two little buns like pigtails

Great set with a lot of pieces. Makes easy little buns and if you've ever had one of these you'll get exactly what you can expect. I've only really known the one big one, but the different sizes are great for variety. Instead of one big bun you can have two small ones, or two big ones, or several different sizes. I haven't personally tried stacking them yet, but for all I know that might be possible as well. Fun to experiment with and makes for extremely cute results.I don't personally enjoy the included hairties, but they're not the star of the show for me. The little plastic bead can tangle with hair and tear it out, I'd recommend getting ones that are uniform instead. Those are cheap enough to acquire so it doesn't hurt this set at all. Can recommend this!

The buns are fantastic and the sizing variety is great. The hair ties that come with it don't work very well but its a very small downside to an otherwise great product.

I've used a similar product for putting my daughter's hair up for gymnastics and wanted a larger set to allow for more options. This set is excessively large as I don't see myself ever using the largest or smallest bun sizes. Aside from my storage woes, this is a very nice set. I didn't use the included instructions as I've used donuts before. There are plenty of tutorials available on the web. The brown color should match a majority of brown hair colors but is a bit light for dark brown/black hair. I had no issues with the hair staying in place with the provided bobby pins and elastic bands.
