Q: How does this compare to the forrest woodworker ii in terms of smoothness of cuts?

I own both Forrest and Ridge blades. They are both great blades, but I would give the Ridge blade a slight edge over the Forrest brand. Great blades are not cheap, but the carbide is second to none.

Q: Does this produce a lot of sawdust? (I just bought a new cabinet saw and the stock blade throws way more dust than my old saw with a cheap blade)

I use this blade frequently but I use a 90 tooth .125 kerf almost as much. I also use a 24 tooth .125 kerf rip blade. They all produce an annoying amount of sawdust above the cut. There are vacuum attachments to capture this sawdust, but I have not bothered. I guess I just have gotten used to it.

Q: Is this a true 10 inch blade, or is it 250mm? Or something else?

These are American Made blades so it's a true 10". it's the imported product that could be metric and try try to play it off as imperial

Any 10" saw blade will work in any 10" saw with a few exceptions. For a portable saw like that though I would use the thin kerf because of the lower horsepower of the saw. If there is a reason you prefer the full kerf use it and if you're never cutting thicker hardwoods you'll probably never notice the saw slowing down.
