I absolutely love this portable closet it has so much space I was able to put my purses on those middle shelves sent some boxes in the very bottom which really help to stabilize it and then I have my dresses on my long wear items in there it is a great day for the money the stability the weight is putting together it just takes time cuz it's so many raw but it's easy to put

Wow! When I bought this I was expecting something that would collapse under a little bit of weight. After a full month of use, I'm blown away by how sturdy and useful this thing is.My room had no closet, so I decided to get a stand alone wardrobe. This thing took about an hour to assemble, and while it could be a bit tricky at times if you follow the instructions you'll be fine. Make sure to measure the space you'll be putting this in, as it does take up a decent amount of space.The good:Strength: I've got about 15 dress shirts, 20 t shirts, 5 pairs of pants, 5 pairs of shorts, and a few sweaters in this thing. I also have some duffel bags resting on the top of this wardrobe. It has not shown any signs of collapsing or folding under this weight. Very impressive.Style: It's not the sexiest thing in the world but it will get the job done. Black is a clean color that I think looks better than those awful beige wardrobes.The not so good:Flaps: The flaps being zippers is sort of annoying. I usually just fold up the straps for daily use and leave them there. Zippering them shut then back open is a lot of work to grab a shirt, and leaving them down but un-zippered just looks sloppy. If I could make one change, I'd have the flaps be held down with a few pieces of velcro for quick access and closing.Verdict: if you are looking for a standalone wardrobe under $50 that can hold all your clothes, this is the purchase for you.

I have a one room summer lake cabin. It measures 12' x 20', which is exactly 240' sq. I enjoy making that journey to it in the spring, and then just hanging out until the fall weather begins to deteriorate. However, it is located a very long distance from anything even remotely "convenience" oriented. Subsequently, I arrive there each spring with a trailer stocked FULL of essentials!! That includes LOTS of clothing for ALL types of weather. Where to put it all?!?!The ONLY empty potential storage areas are ... the walls??? Yep!! IF I can locate some easy to assemble and install, no hassle, sturdy, AFFORDABLE shelving that can accommodate a summer's worth of dry goods and other odds and ends, then I'd be all set!!As mentioned, one category of items is clothing. My cabin is a studio, with no closet/wardrobe. Hence, I began to investigate what type of storage would be the most functional, affordable, sturdy, lightweight, and easy on the eyes. It needed to be versatile, roomy, as well as lightweight, yet sturdy!!I found the perfect solution on AMAZON! it is the SONGMICS Portable Clothes Closet, 59-Inch Non-Woven Fabric Wardrobe!! It has 7 shelves for clothing and linens, along with two hanger rods for coats, shirts and slacks. It is quite sturdy, yet, it is extremely lightweight and durable.It is enclosed with a wrap around nylon covering that has three flaps in the front. The flaps zip together in order to cover the three vertical sections of the wardrobe. They can be individually unzipped for access into whichever vertical section it is within which I need to retrieve, or replace, an item.AMAZON ALWAYS features innovative products that are affordably priced. Besides storing clothes, this 6-foot high, 5-foot long, and 18-inch wide unit can double as effective and affordable room divider. The lightweight materials diminish the tipping hazards – no need to bolt to a wall – and the black non-woven fabric blocks light. When filled with clothes, it blocks sound, too. We bought two units, and positioned them to convert a loft-like space into a temporary bedroom (see pix.)The six generously spaced shelves (nine if you count the floor), hold lots of clothes and linens. The two movable hanging clothes bars are sufficient for lightweight shirts, but I wouldn’t tax them with heavy coats or pants nor should you overload them. The metal clasp that attaches to the shelf bar is pliable and will sag depending on the weight. Common sense should rule your storing/hanging decisions.On price, size, convenience, and versatility this is an excellent purchase. One unit arrived in great condition. The cover to the second unit arrived smelling like a musty old camper. The non-woven fabric can't be washed and repeated airings were ineffective. SONGMICS customer service responded instantly to my complaint, shipping me a new cover without requiring the return of the smelly one. This is a budget-friendly product that comes with first-class service. Highly recommend this portable clothes closet by SONGMICS.

I was hesistant to buy considering some said there were missing parts and instructions were not clear. The one delivered to us was pretty close to perfect.Rods are metal and they were put in seperate packaging with numbers on them. You’ll have to check around cause the number labels could easily be missed if you’re not looking throughly since they were in clear plastic packaging. Instructions were clear on which parts to use for each section.- Took about an hour to assemble, there were some parts I had to undo because I HAD the plastic connectors the wrong way.- Pay CLOSE attention to the connectors and how they’re placed and which ones to use in each section.- The water resistant fabric used for the “shelves” seems thin but they didn’t rip at all when having to undo the rods to fix any of my mistakes.- Pretty large. I’m 5’2” and had to use a step stool to connect the top parts.Overall seems like a durable wardrobe. Will update on the longevity over time.

I have admit I was extremely hesitant to purchase this. I measured the space, I had my daughter measure the space and I was pretty sure I was ordering exactly what I needed, once I took it out of the box and got all the pieces organized I realized it was much larger in length than I had expected. It went together perfectly It's relatively sturdy and it holds a lot of stuff, it is perfect for people that have a small space and just need one extra closet. You could actually reinforce the shelves with a very thin piece of plywood to make them that much more sturdy but overall I'm glad I purchased it.
