Great home owner garage workshop. I used it to cut up a bunch of mild steel parts and diamond tipped cut wheels without pushing hard on the tool letting the cutoff wheel work and got 40 minutes out of a fresh 4 amp DeWalt battery. Worked well enough, long enough, for one tough project. I am glad I bought this at the low price for that one job and now it resides in my garage workshop knowing I will love it next time I need a tool like this. I do not remember whether it ran warm or hot under the heavy load moments so it must have been cool enough

I have both M18 and Dewalt grinders and this can't hold a candle to them. But, it's cheap and does work.I used it the other day to clean up some 3/8" plate metal on my backhoe bucket for a repair I needed to do. Although it doesn't spin up with the torque of either name brand grinder, it does have power and you can really lean into it. It seemed to go through the batteries a little quicker than my other units, but only a little quicker. It won't be my main grinder, but is a good backup or travel tool.My biggest complaint is that it has some non-standard chuck. It'll fit normal 4-1/" cutoff wheels, flap discs, etc. with the supplied nut/boss, but the thread is too small to fit wire wheels or other screw on attachments. So that kind of limits where it's useful and hence the 3 stars.

It works perfect with my dewalt batteries it spins a little slower than a regular corded grinder but really kinda helps not wear down cut of wheels as fast it seems like

Good performance, so far so good after a few months. It has a speed controller separate to the main switch. (Good idea ) feels a bit weak but so far it works good. Doesn't feel sturdy though.

I’ve used heavily since I got it, so far is keeping up fantastically. It’d be great if I could find some rubber protecting boots. It feels great to hold and the speed control is great. Lots of nice features.
