Soft and thickly woven. It does seem to have Robin’s Egg Blue woven in it if you look straight down in full light. However, in less light looking across it seems sage-ish. It’s grown on me. No problems with wrinkles.

The rug is very nice and nice quality. However the way it was rolled left creases in the rug that have not come out. Two weeks later creases are still there. Very disappointing.

I was looking for an inexpensive rug for my living room because it’s a heavily trafficked area. My thinking, for the price, it’s a disposable purchase. Although it is not plush I don’t have a problem with the pile. I like the color, it will hide a lot of’sins’. I ordered a pad for it which I would recommend. As far as durablility goes? Time will tell.

I received my rug today via UPS. While the rug itself was tightly rolled in plastic the cardboard protective pieces surrounding the ends were torn and exposed. Fortunately there was no damage to the rug edges or the rug itself. Yay! This is a really pretty rug with a soft pattern and colors. It's certainly not plush by any means but it's a nice rug overall and the price is certainly exceptional. There are multiple creases that run the entire length of the rug however I am hoping that with time they will flatten out. Given that this rug is made in Egypt I'm not surprised by the deep creases because it certainly traveled quite a distance to get to the US. The rug has a really strong "off gassing'" type odor so opened the back door and had a fan blow over the rug for several hours today to help eliminate the smell. That seems to be working well so far. Overall I am very happy with this rug.

The color is perfect, it’s so classy. It’s well made too, I just love it.

I know these are reasonably-priced for area rugs, but I still was hesitant to spend this much. I spent a long time looking for area rugs without a white, beige, or cream colored backgrounds because of our cat who throws up on things occasionally. This has a green background, is very nice, and matches our furniture well. So far we've had it at month and I am happy with durability.

Absolutely beautiful. I didn't expect it considering the price, but the colors and pattern in the green are so lovely. Very soft underfoot. I'm at the 3 day point and, like another review, mine is buckled in the middle. I have a runner that had a similar problem and never did flatten out, so I'm hoping that I won't have to return this one for another. I like enough to do so. Am considering buying an identical rug for a second home.Wondering if anyone has helpful hints for removing the fold marks.Update: I just received the fourth rug in green. Two 8 x 10, one 5 x 8 and one runner. Be patient with the wrinkles. They eventually fall out and placing something like a flat table upside down on them speeds up the process. I keep moving it until all the creases are out. Also, placing a very damp towel and lightly passing an iron over the area works well. These rugs are made in Egypt and packaged very well...no dirty ends. They are waterproof and crumbs stay on top of the surface to be vacuumed up. Love this rug, at a very attractive price. We now have six of them in our two homes. Liquids lay on the top to blot up, no staining. A great buy.

The carpet arrived rolled up, but in unrolling it, we discovered that it was folded over itself in places, like an accordion, just like other reviews have described.We tried to steam one very large wrinkle but it just made the carpet buckle underneath so I wouldn't recommend that.So what we ended up doing was dragging our very heavy oak coffee table out of storage, turning it upside down on the wrinkles and folds, and letting it sit there for a day or two before moving it to the next wrinkle or fold. Essentially we use the table like an iron to press out all of the wrinkles. We assumed that the dark streaks across the carpet were from the wrinkles but now that the wrinkles are gone, the dark streaks are still there. We are now past the 30-day return window. I don't know if it's a problem with the dye or what but hopefully as we vacuum over time they will lessen. The carpet itself is beautiful in terms of the color and the pattern. It's more of a sage or turquoise green than it is an olive green. It's exactly what I wanted for an amazing price, which is why I was willing to go through all of the effort to get the folds and wrinkles out. But the manufacturer has to do a better job when it comes to packaging, because it shouldn't be this hard, which is why I've only given it three stars.Update March 2022. Pleased to report that the wrinkles disappeared, along with the streaks.

It's been almost two months since I purchased this area rug. I wanted to wait and live with it for a while so I could give my true honest opinion. I am very happy with my purchase of this rug. The colors on Amazon are very close to the real thing. It was rolled tightly and had a couple of kinks in it. I tried dampening it a bit with water in a spray bottle and that didn't work and then I try laying a towel over the wrinkles and ironing WITHOUT steam, but that didn't work either. What I found did work was just giving it time and I did notice that the heat from the fireplace helped it to flatten out. Then after about 3 weeks, I put some heavy flat objects on the stubborn wrinkles and now it's just about flatten out. I love the colors of the rug. It makes my living room feel cozy.

As others have said, it had some wrinkles in it when first unpacked. This is to be expected. I just rolled its flat and placed some heavy books along the edges for a couple days. Yes, it had lines in it at first, from being rolled up for so long, and which gave it a streaky appearance but a couple days of being unrolled and flattened along the edges and all that is left is a gorgeous, rich looking area rug. I love the colour!!

Wow, this carpet is so nice and plush. The colors are more muted and look beautiful, we are very happy with this purchase. We almost ordered the other color as we thought it looked nicer on the website, but we went with the green one as it was cheaper and we are so happy we picked this one, we picked the right one for sure.

I searched for days trying to find an area rug I loved, settled on this one, and I am not disappointed!! It matched my sage green drapes perfectly. Soft to walk on, doesn't seem to pill at all..I've had it about 3 weeks. It was wrinkled when it arrived, but we just stretched it a little by pulling heavy furniture over it, and within about a week or so it straightened out. Reasonable price too. I love it!
