Update: I'm sorry I forgot to do an update on this. I was contacted by the company right after my original post posted.They were very kind and concerned that this happened. They refunded my money right away. So very helpful. I got very inventive in using the broken one with strong tape. The brush that came with it, is one of the best I've ever used. The dog rolls over as soon as she sees it so I can brush her tummy. My cats even like it.Lack of information in the package. The actual shaver is good. However, the fit between the shaver and the coupler of the hose is defective. In the process of pull the hose coupler from the shaver, a part from inside the shaver fell out. I'm unable to reattach the part. So now it will not connect to the coupler I have no way to have the fur sucked into the machine.

Some dogs may not like the noise, and while it is quiet, this little grooming kit isn't perfect. It's quieter than you'd expect, but more noisy than you'd hope, if that makes sense. Your dog will definitely hear it coming! All the attachments work fairly well, and it's easy to clean, which is really nice. Overall I'd recommend it, if you don't already have some of these tools available.

Not to noisy my 1 yr old Aussie is jumpy with noises and after 15 min introducing him Slowly to it he is fine with me using it on him. I can’t wait to use it on Toti.

Didn’t scare my dog like other dog clippers and works so well

So far this has been working well, but it is definitely on the noisier side so skittish dogs might not do well with it. The vacuum does well but don't expect it to catch everything as you go as it won't - it will however lessen the time spent for cleanup afterwards.

Due to the hook shape of the bristles the brush pulls my dog's fur too much to use. He is an Australian shepherd with fairly long hair and just will not tolerate this brush. I have another system very similar that the brush does not have the hard hook on the bristles and he puts up with it without problem. This brush may work on Slicker dogs but does not work on my thick Aussies fur. I did use the shaver on his belly as his fur gets too long and gets too dirty, the shaver worked well it was nice to have all the hair sucked up into the vacuum as I shaved him. As I said this might work fine for dogs with thinner hair. Operates fairly quietly and does not startle the dog.

This was super easy to use. It is a little louder than others that I have used but its not terrible. I would slowly introduce it to your skittish dogs/cats but mines are used to my shenanigans. It did a great job at collecting the hairs and was super easy to empty out afterwards. Great kit and plenty of heads to try and use.
