Works great

This chemical works very well on GE Opal ice makers and is easy to use. Remove the filter before use. It cheaper than the official cleaning mix and works just as well. for this size ice maker you have between 16 and 20 uses. Make sure to rinse a couple times before making ice.

Had to run several cycles to get everything fully back to default but it does clean the machine out after several. We only use distilled water in our ice machine (Opal 2.0) but it still does end up with some scaling. Also swap the filter when done and completely emptied and run with a few new setups of fresh water to get rid of any remaining chemicals. My family loves the nugget ice, and if you've got a machine you've got to keep it clean.

It seemed to work ok. But I have come to find that using distilled white vinegar and water can work just as good.
