So far I'm really happy with this product. Switching out the dies are easy, the shoulder strap is a bonus if you're not stationary, and it balances itself if you are stationary. It keeps count of the crimps which is a neat feature and it comes with two batteries. It may be a bit heavy for some but for the price and functionality, I'd buy again in a heartbeat. So far the biggest lug I've had to crimp is 2awg, and that was a breeze. I do have some jobs coming up that will utilize 4/0 cable and I have the utmost confidence that this will do the job. Very pleased with this crimping tool.

Solidly built. I have only tested the 6 gauge crimp and it was perfectly done. Seems as if it's built to last. I will update when it's tested in the field.

The only flaw was that the plastic molded storage container does not sit tight enough against the dies, and they were out of place like in my picture. I will place a piece of self-sticking foam weather-stripping to keep them in place

Being a professional circuit worker, I have to say, this product is a must-have! Started off with a manual hydraulic crimper for my job, but let me tell you, it was tough going. Upgraded to this electric model and it has made my work a breeze!Handles 8AWG-600MCM wire like a dream. Tested out various brands, and I'm truely impressed with the quality of the crimp. With two 5.0Ah batteries, I can work for extended periods. The included shoulder strap makes it easy to carry without much effort.Planning to use it for upgrading my home's stainless steel deck system-looking forward to it!Trust me, steer clear of those cheap manual machines that are just a waste of money and time.

I'm honestly excited about this crimper, the quality is better than other motorised crimpers and the price is cheaper!
