I had gotten a different brand and returned. This one is going on with the stock as well.
I actually got this since I like the design and with the gen 2 Priuses, I've found the reception isn't so good using only these antennas. I actually got another brands white one and returned since the plastic was so cheap looking and didn't have a white paint like finish and the reception was worse than my deteriorated stock one. After thinking about, I've come up with what I'll call a "stingray" antenna where I'll use the old stock Prius antenna as the bolt to secure this antenna. Then a little PlasticDip in white or maybe type 1 silicone to seal up the hole where the antenna pokes through the fin. Seems great for the price and girlfriend approved.

Looks good and works well. I actually put this on the roof of my old PPV charger to cover the hole left by the light bar. I did wire in the antenna and the reception is great.
