I came across this book and felt called to purchase it so I did… I almost read the entire book during an 11-hour road trip… I resonate with the language and everything written… however, it’s the “unexpected” that’s very very powerful. I believed, at this point, I healed from a past trauma as much as I could or “needed to” until I was guided through one of the practices in the book… it’s an inquiry and doesn’t put you too far into the trauma vortex. You just have to keep reading and breathing. This revealed so much for me that I wasn’t seeing (or willing to see) and it is clear now… what has been holding me back in my life and where it continues to… I get to choose differently now.. thank you, Don Jose Ruiz… and for the ancestors. Forever and ever grateful. 🙏

Don Miguel Ruiz teaches an amazing way to forward ones own spirituality and self worth. What he teaches is extremely applicable to the world we live in today and the people in it. He speaks the truth of our divinity and how we should honour it in ourselves and others.

I loved the way it was organized, because it made me slow down and process each chapter, which was frustrating but also exactly what was necessary. The stories were very powerful and inspiring, the exercises difficult but also a great guide to beginning my own path.

I loved the book.It’s a good read with beautiful reminders about life and how we should live it. I like the idea of the domesticated. And than the de conditioning it is important for our evolution.

I’d recommend this book to anyone. Even if you are not sure what a shaman is, this book is full of great advice and stories.

Great book. I look forward to rereading and really living the truths within.

I have always felt like a Shaman, even though I am an Indian Yogi.. But then what's rhe difference really between a Shaman and a Yogi? Both are on the path to finding their own Inner Truth.. And Truth is Absolute and Universal. This book is such a beautiful read, that I had tears of joy after the book ended, but with a message so powerful, that we need it more than ever before in our times. It's ancient wisdom which holds as true as the existence of Universe itself.. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in understanding the stories of the Shaman, and the beautiful wisdom that it offers to humanity. A must read for every person, and not just a spiritual seeker. My hearty gratitude and appreciation to Don Jose Ruiz, who feels like a Soul brother. Pranaam brother.
