Good for rain or sun

The parasol itself is lovely, but the cap on the end of the handle arrived damaged. Not an issue for me as I can fix this, but definitely worth taking off a star.

I bought this as a sunshade rather than an umbrella and it's perfect. Lovely outside colour and the blackout lining works a treat. It's simple to use and, so far, the mechanism works well. The handle is quite short but then it is a foldable handbag size item so to be expected. Very good value.

Didn't like the way it folded, felt a bit flimsy. But I only needed it for a 2 week vacation in Florida in August - so very glad I had it! Was easy enough to open and close, light and compact and looked pretty. Just a bit fiddly to get in and out of it's case, and a sure guarantee to get you stopped at Disney security!

Firstly positives... its beautiful..lightweight and easy enough to put up and down.Negative.. its really negligible.. but I bought this as it looks more victorian in shape and like it curves round more and a bit bigger, which it isn't. However that doesn't really matter. Hoping it lasts and holds up to the North Wales winds! Would actually love this in a baby pink and sage green too 💕

This product was good at providing shade but unfortunately, broke after a couple of uses

The black lining is a bit oppressive. On the other hand another sun shade I bought had a silver lining which created a bit of a glare. But it does what it says it will do. It folds up a bit differently from other umbrellas I’ve had, but it just takes a bit of practice. Even my 5yr old grandson manages. I can recommend it as it also reduces the temperature on your head. The scalloped edge lifts it out of the ordinary category.

Kurze Zusammenfassung:- hat seinen Zweck erfüllt (hatte keinen Sonnenbrand)- ich liebe Lila und deshalb mega- ist innen schwarz- Qualität wie bei allen "günstigen" Knirpsen eher "naja"- echt kruzer Haltegriff, hätte deshalb gerne 1,5 Sterne abgezogen, der Stiel ist echt kurz !!!Mein Verwendungszeweck:Seit 10 Jahren kränkt mich unser Fußballturnier am Ende des Schuljahres. Wir sind 6 Stunden auf dem Sportplatz. Ich bin nicht viel draußen und Sonne nicht gewohnt. Trotz Sonnenhut und Sonnencreme habe ich immer üblen Sonnenbrand von diesem Tag. Meine Kollegin wollte mir einen Sonnenschirm geben, den man in den Boden steckt, für den Sandkasten draußen. Aber damit bin ich nicht mobil und bei den Sitzbänken ist kein Rasen. So kam ich darauf, zu schauen, ob es UV-Schirm gibt (wusste ich bisher nicht).Vorteile:- Kein Sonnenbrand nach 6 Stunden ohne Schatten- die Farbe- Regen- und Sonnenschutz- innen schwarz- leicht- geht nach dem ersten Öffnen auch wieder in die Hülle (ist ja nicht immer selbstverständlich)Nachteile:- KURZER GRIFF !!! Hab ich den kurzen Griff schon erwähnt ?! KURZ !!! Also nach den 4 Stunden taten mir echt die Arme weh. Aber, ehrlichkeitshalber: Meistens benutzt man den Schirm ja auch nicht so lange. Das Fußballturnier ist, finde ich, schon eine Extremsituation. Dennoch ist er zum Tragen einfach unbequem.- Qualität ist wie die von den meisten kleinen Knirpsen, ich hab immer das Gefühl, so viel halten die nicht aus.Fazit:Sah mit Sonnenschutz (ohne Hut) und 4 Stunden unter dem Schirm bei bedecktem, sonnigem Wetter aus wie davor - KEIN SONNENBRAND. Dafür nahm ich in Kauf, dass mir die Arme vom halten etwas weh taten.Beim nächsten mehrstündigen Aufenthalt draußen ist der auf alle Fälle wieder mit dabei.

Toller Sonnenschirm riecht auch überhaupt nicht und sieht Mega schön aus :-)Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Der Schirm kam pünktlich an.Perfekt für die Schwarze Szene Gothic und praktisch als Sonnen-und Regenschirm.Ich benutze den Schirm so wohl als auch.Denn ich mag keine pralle Sonne, wenn ich unterwegs bin und da ich schwarz so wieso liebe und mich auch dem entsprechend kleide ist er perfekt.Auch für Freizeit.Nicht nur für WGT.
