Loud. Easy to refill, economical, ready when needed
The. Biggest problem with this horn is related to a positive aspect. It's loud. Being hand held means that it can hurt your ears.The included air pump is small an light, allowing for storage on the boat.Boat wiring systems are not wonderful. Lights stop working, horns stop working. Tracking the electrical system problems is a hasslle. The pump and horn make this more reliable for our Whaler.

Overpriced
Works fine when you charge it but it's way overpriced. Can get this item 30% cheaper at WalMart. The air charger broke after one use.

Great idea, wrong venue.
The positive:This is a great product and excellent idea. I love being able to recharge this instead of buying a new one each time. Seems well built, easy to use, and easy to refill.The negative:This is not the same sound as the normal 'stadium' type air horns. This is a much higher pitch. Sounds like a boat horn, so I imagine this is more for the marina than the football game.

Very sturdy both the pump and the horn
perfect for what I needed and easy to recharge with the pump. The horn is very loud and dependable. I have recomended it to my friends

Just what I was looking for
Wow! This is loud! It's a little bit high pitched, more like a boat horn than a truck horn, but really really loud. I made the mistake of pushing the button when it arrived, figuring that it wasn't charged. My ears are still ringing. I've carried it on two trips in Alaska, planning to use it for adversive conditioning of bears or to call for help if needed (you can't carry bear spray on commercial airplanes, and I usually prefer not to carry a firearm). Haven't had a chance to use it yet for bears, but I expect that it will be more help than yelling or clanging pans if I ever need to chase a curious bear away from camp. It's a bit bulky, and horn sticks out far enough to be a bit awkward, but it fits just fine in my tent and it doesn't weigh anything. It's very easy to drain the air by unscrewing the bicycle valve core, so that you can check it in luggage, but you'll need a valve cap with a core wrench top to do that (valve caps are cheap). The bicycle pump works just fine to pressurize it.

Yep, It Blows
This is very nice. Bought it for use as a sideline horn for lacrosse. Worked great until the nitwits broke it. Don't exactly know how they broke it, don't care, refused to buy them a new one ha!!!
