Works great with PLA!
Inserted 8 of them into the bottom of a PLA print that I did. They went in super easily by simply pressing downward with a soldering iron. Screws threaded in without any issue. One note: Make sure to print a test piece before the whole thing! I thought that the listed 'M' value was for the base radius, but that was incorrect -- that's the inner thread diameter. So when I was designing my part, I designed the hole way too small! Measure the diameter you need with the calipers, print a small test piece, and only do your full print after.

Perfect for 3D printing
These are such a game changer for 3D printed assemblies! You print a hole slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the insert, then you warm it up over a flame with some needle nose pliers and push it in. Once it cools you end up with a really sturdy connection point! These were exactly right for me, and the price is good.

Great addition for 3d prints!
These threaded inserts work remarkably well. I was able to press fit these into some of my prints for a new heat shroud on my Ender 5 and it was a breeze to do with my soldering iron. They hold very strong too.

Great Assortment Of Brass Threaded Inserts
Great assortment of brass M2, M2.5, M3, M4, M5, & M6 with 3 varies lengths threaded inserts. Threads feel great and no play when screws are threaded. The case is nice & dividers don't move or come out which is a plus, the cover does latch very well to keep it closed. I would still be mindful not to drop it too many times, plastic case is thin.I honestly didn't even know it came with tweezers, nice surprise. They are ok, but are still functional at picking up the inserts and screws, I have seen much worst from other kits that were useless.Overall I would highly recommend purchasing this kit. As for all brass threaded inserts, I would recommend buying a set of Heat-Set Insert Tips for an adjustable temp soldering iron/station. I have a set for my Hakko soldering station that I bought here on Amazon that work great! Finally this review is of my own honest opinion & is not swayed in anyway by other influences.

3D Printing Game Changer!
These are a 3D printing game changer. I'm done with the days of trying to 3D print a screw thread for a bolt. These brass inserts are super simple to use, all you need is a good soldering iron. Pre-heat the iron, position the brass thread insert where you want it and put the tip of the soldering iron on the brass insert. The heat from the soldering iron quickly heats the brass and it will sink into your PLA or other 3D printed medium. The only tricky part is aligning things. They added a pair of tweezers to make things much easier. With the set you get 500 pieces, admittedly I will probably never use half of them but it's better to have them than to not, and for only $16.77 which is the price at time of my review, it's amazing value for money.

Good Even Amounts
A good assorted set that doesn't pad up the overall amount with the smallest size. While on the flip side there is a lot of long/deep threaded inserts that might be a bit more uncommon to use with the smaller screw sizes. A very wide selection of sizes I can say with this set.

Nice variety of sizes, easy to use
These are great heat set inserts for my 3d printed models. They are easy to use and add rigidity to otherwise fragile parts. It's hard to find M2 and M3's locally so this variety pack purchase was a no brainer for me. Great quality, good price, nice variety.
