Good product with reliable filtration and durable stainless steel construction. It’s great for hiking and travel, but it’s not as compact as I’d prefer for carrying in tighter spaces. Overall, it’s effective and well-made, just a bit bulkier than expected

I bought this for a recent trip to Disney because of all of the extra filtration this straw provides. While I do like that this filters out more than most bottles/straws in the same category, it's very large and difficult to drink from. On day 2 of our trip and the silicone cap fell off without me knowing, which I wouldn't expect for the cost. Will be exploring other options in the future.

I have the life straw glass pitcher which our household uses all day everyday and is super efficient and makes our water taste clean and pure. I bought this to use while we’re on the go, recently used while I was in the hospital and it tasted like nothing purified at all with an awful taste. I was super turned off by it that I haven’t used it since and it’s past the return window.

The box didn't have any sort of tamper proofing. I'd like to know with certainty that an item that goes in my mouth has never been opened before.The water is slow to go through the straw, but it is meant to be used for emergency situations, not for drinking in normal everyday life. It doesn't filter salt water (so no ocean drinking!) nor does it filter viruses, so caution is still important.It does give me some peace of mind to have it as a backup.

Lifestraw is a name that people can trust. I have used other products of theirs and have been happy with them, this "Sip" model is much thinner than their normal Lifestraw and is more portable. It is nice that it comes with it's own heavy duty case as well. It is thinner and longer than their other product, but I think it is still more portable. It isn't really that light weight because of the metal on it, and the flow rate isn't the best, but overall it is a nice product that does it's job.
