No, Really. Is there a silver needle tea better than this? I had read the great reviews posted about the product and since it goes for about 86 dollars a pound compared to the 130 to 140 dollars a pound at my huge local organic grocer, I was inclined to give it a try. It is true! The bitterness is completely absent. I make all of my teas (camellia sinensis), white green, and oolong by dumping barely boiling water over the leaves for thirty seconds, which I know is not custom, (but it is easy) and while I was drinking this one last night I completely got swept away by the unbelievable taste. I have tried other silver needle teas before that were bland to say the least. I put a nice sized tablespoon of Potrero silver needles in my tea maker and extracted three times with 9 to 10 fluid ounce portions of water to make a total of 28 fluid ounces of white tea. I added 9 ice cubes from the automatic fridge and 3 1/2 to 4 teaspoons of sugar. Remember this is almost a liter of tea here. Then I stirred and drank. It was one of the best things I have ever tasted. I will be ordering again!

I ordered this one a few months ago and called Amazon about it... The problem was that the "white tea" lost its true color. My tea turned into a VERY Dark Brown as the minutes past. Even after I properly brewed it and made sure of it, there was still some big flaws with this "white tea". IT does however taste alright. Considering this is labeled "white tea" and suggested to be very high quality from others, Beware...

I tried this product because Art of Tea has been out of my favorite silver needle tea for quite some time and I had run out of tea. I tried several other products, which were supposed to be silver needle tea, but all but this one were awful. This is an excellent tea with no bitterness. I make 3 cups with one bag and the flavor is always delicious. I recommend it highly if you are a fan of silver needle leaf tea.

I bought "the Tao of tea" silver needles before trying this tea and was very pleased. I expected this one to be as good as or better. I was disappointed because it could not compare much. It did not taste like white tea to me. I will use what I have but I will not be purchasing again.

not much flavor, compared with black tea, but a good base for whcih to add chai spices

The leaves are smaller than I'm used to, but they seem more potent, even when reused. The taste is fantastic. Running into things like this makes me glad that I try out different companies. I hope the crop is this good in the future.

I bought this for my dad and he loved it. We have tried other white tea but he liked this the most. Be sure to switch the tea to an airtight container to keep it fresh for a longer amount of time.
