I have been a big fan of vinyl skins made by companies like dbrand and slick wraps. I like their skins on laptops, phones, etc. However, there are no good Indian companies making similar quality skins for a reasonable price, so if you want a readymade skin, you are stuck with these imported products. Frankly speaking, I like their quality but I think paying something like 1000 to 4000 rupees for phone and laptop skins is plain insane! So I decided to do a DIY project myself and make my own skin at home.The most essential component of this project, of course, was good quality vinyl which needed to be reasonably priced. Browsing through Amazon, I came across Tufcoat Vinyl and it seemed to tick all my boxes. So I ordered 2 rolls of 2x1 feet 3D carbon fibre pattern vinyl sheets. It only cost me Rs 109 per sheet after discount. Very very economical I'd say.The items came very well packaged, and each sheet was wrapped individually in heat shrunk plastic wrap. The quality is very nice for the price, texturing is very good and resembles actual carbon fibre very closely. I used the vinyl sheet for making a skin for my Macbook Pro, and loved the result. During the process, I had to peel off the vinyl a couple of times, but it stuck back very well without losing any of the adhesive. There was also no residue left behind on the laptop after removal, so I'm guessing the adhesive used is of a good quality. I'm posting images to show you what it looks like.My only gripe is that unlike 3M vinyls, this doesn't have bubble free application technology (which is patented), so you have to be careful during application, as bubbles do tend to form very easily under the vinyl during application. However, it is significantly cheaper than 3M, and for the price, I think it is an amazing value for money product.All in all, I was able to make a carbon fibre skin for my Macbook for just Rs 109!!Next project is a skin for iPhone 6S.VERDICT: Recommended.

Minus one because it doesn't stay well on curve surfaces as the glue isn't great. I didn't use this for the Laptop lid, but rather used it for the laptop's inside portion covering the keyboard and the mouse-pad and it worked like a charm. However, installation requires a precise hand and smooth cutting skills. This is a good product only on smooth surfaces. If you looking to install it around curvy areas i suggest you find some other material, or consult an expert.I've played with 3 of these, before i got it right. Well, I liked the practice, but I don''t think many of you would like to practice with it.Point to note is that sometimes the size might not cover your entire laptop area depending on your laptop size. So i suggest you to buy 2 as they usually send two as a single large roll, so in case your laptop doesn't get covered fully with a single piece, you won't be at a loss as you will be easily able to cut and past these. I've used the remaining portions to cover my old speakers and boom box and also to cover a pen stand.

Product quality is 1 no......but the problem is i got it 250rs but the length should be 2 times the length of my laptop..,. because other sellers are providing that size in this price......other things are good easy to apply over laptop....and quality is very good..only the issue with quantity.

I feel this is the best alternative to buying expensive skins for specific devices. I've skinned many of my gadgets with this. Some of them include My Power bank, Charger, Charging cable, Hard disk, and even my Laptop. I've provided all the images also. This skin not only adds style to your products but also protects them from scratches. I won't say that it is easy to cut and apply, but even if you take a little time it's really worth while. The product quality is also really good.At this pricing I think it's a must buy for people who want to differentiate themselves from the crowd.

The product is nice,the size is accurate as mentioned in the description.I applied it on top of my Speaker's Sub-woofer and still have more the half of it remaining.I was thinking of covering my table and so i ordered on as a sample.I think i will be buying more of it.The application is pretty simple as it already has the adhesive on it,so just peel of the back and stick it...ITS THAT SIMPLE.There are others colors also.It added a nice feel and texture to the speaker.It really shines and reflects when the lights are on but when in dim light the carbon fiber cannot be noticed.

had a bit of doubt about the texture, as I ordered bunch of other items previously and got scammed, but this one is pretty good, it is easy to work with heat, the texture is really like carbon fiber, and lastly the adhesion is also good.

Brought with very high expectations, I find that the adhesive is not strong at all - It is so weak that when I test pealed on one corner, it dint stick to anything other than the carboard that it came with. I realized this is non returnable as well! I would be careful next time. Called up the toll free number yesterday after I opened the package and found the product not satisfactory. I was told this is for indoor use only and cannot be used on outdoor items. Also if you need strong adhesive check with your mechanic and use.

I got this product for 149 i am a prime member. The price is great.its a decal nothing is weaved as in original carbon fiber .The product delevered was 100% the same as shown in images.its actually not much thick. But you will still have to use BLOWER , HAIR DRYER, TOASTER ,ROOM HEATER, to heat around the corners and then streach it or else it would come out Adhesive is good enough to hold it in its place .I would suggest not to streach it on the corners instead make a V cut and then stick and use fevi quick.the packing was more than best .the way these guys packed you could have send a fragile glass house .in short product will be completely safe. no matter what.and always prefer for tufkote brand.they are cool.. :)
