Don't make me more sick
These are easy to take, don't make me more sick than I already am, don't have a weird flavor, but you have to take 4 a day.

Pretty good prenatal
I don't really have any complaints for this. The capsules are small - at least smaller than the average capsules that I take. I didn't notice any bad smells or tastes - which is important while pregnant and sensitivities are high. The blend of nutrients looks pretty good to me. The serving size of 4 capsules a day might not be ideal for some, but doesn't pose issues for me because I organize my pills weekly in an organizer and am used to taking multiples pills multiple times a day.

Excellent quality prenatal vitamin
This prenatal supplement has all the green flags. Unlike most prenatal supplements, it contains choline, a crucial nutrient during pregnancy, and bioavailable forms of vitamins, such as methylcobalamin and bisglycinate chelate (Ferrochel) iron. Kirkman is a long-established brand with a strong emphasis on testing, going above and beyond standard third-party lab testing. The serving (2 capsules 2x per day) can be a bit inconvenient and easy to forget to take, but many prenatals have multiple capsules per dose because it’s hard to fit everything in a single pill.I find Ferrochel iron to be easier on my digestion than ferrous sulfate. I have not noticed any side effects from taking this supplement. In terms of value, it’s on par with the Thorne Labs Basic Prenatal, though there are some differences there in the nutrient profile (e.g., Kirkman's is higher in choline but lower in iron).

2 capsules twice a day is a drag.
The Kirkman Prenatal vitamins I received are in a safety sealed bottle with expiration 18 months away from delivery. They are small tasteless and odorless capsules with a nice variety of vitamins and are easily tolerated. I find that the suggested dose is 2 capsules twice a day for a total of 4 capsules a day is inconvenient and I prefer a supplement to be once a day so I can stagger it with my other supplements through the day. Otherwise a fair choice for a prenatal vitamin.

Good prenatal
These Kirkman Prenatals are a good choice for anyone in the childbearing age. These have no weird smell or taste, and I like that they come in the clear capsule that doesn't start dissolving if you don't swallow it the second you put it in your mouth. They are full of the vitamins and minerals you need and not all the other stuff that I've found in a lot of big box store vitamins (dyes, other things I can't pronounce or don't sound like they should be ingested). I've had no ill effects taking these vitamins. A possible con to these would be that the dose is 2 capsules, 2 times a day (4 total a day). So if you are looking for a 1 pill a day vitamin, these might not be for you. But otherwise I give them 5 stars and a good clean option for a prenatal.

Bioavailability not as high as liquid formulations.
I have recently made the switch to taking my vitamin supplements in the form of liquid formulas. I was always concerned about the shelf life, but realized I consumer them long before the expiration date. That said, going back to capsules like Kirkman’s Prenatal vitamins, I am finding I feel nutrient absorption is not as good. I do not know if bioavailability is significantly effected by the form ingested, but these capsules offer nearly equivalent values of vitamins in other formulations and for some reason this product falls short. I would not recommend this item for that reason alone. This is one of the more ineffective multivitamins I have taken.
