Every Tech's dream who doesn't do huge volumes of cables. Never a bad crimp!
Once you use pass through RJ45 end connectors, you will never go back. Since we went to all Cat6 cable we have been using these. We originally used the Klein pass through crimper. These ends don't fit in it. We purchased the Orbtech RJ45 Crimper (after trying several others) for these. Found out it is a far superior unit to the Klein. It cuts the wires better with a snap. A little secret to pass through RJ45 end connectors is to make sure all your wires are nice and neat inline. Then cut them off to about 1/2" or so. When you crimp, you will get a nice cut with a positive snap (with the Orbtech). Plus the Orbtech has replaceable blades you can actually find. These ends are by far superior to the cheap ones out there. Yes they are expensive, but we charge plenty to install Cat6 cable. Very few failures. If you have ever done Cat6 cable you know when using quality wire, they are much more difficult to do. This makes life easier. We do a fair amount of cable, but not a whole lot of individual ends or patch cables because we get them pre-made. When you need to make a cable though, you need these along with a decent crimper in your toolbox.

These work beautifully
I am so glad I found these. I just finished doing 3 terminations with 100% success. I can't tell you how many other connectors I've had to just cut off of poor termination attempts. The tip I read from the reviewer before me about pulling the cable back a bit after trimming off the excess was perfect - so thank you for that! I can definitely recommend that method and these connectors.

Impossible to crimp
I have used other passthrough Cat45 connectors in the past and these were slightly less expensive, so I decided to try them out. They were terrible. I went through about 10 connectors trying to terminate one cable and I was never able to get a clean test out of any of them. I got so frustrated that I ran out to Home Depot and picked up whatever they had in the store. Every crimp I made with those connectors was perfect. I am trying to return the opened package and if I can't, I will be throwing them away. If you're looking for passthroughs that work well, I have used the Platinum Tools 100015 EZ-RJ45 connectors successfully in the past and I would recommend them. They are a little pricier than these but well worth the time you will save.

Finally CAT6 connectors that actually fit solid-wire CAT6. There's a trick to make them fit easy
I bought two other five-star "CAT6" connectors from Amazon and neither fit very well. Even when I thought I crimped perfectly those other connectors would not get a gigabit connection. With these connectors I got a gigabit on the first try. There's a trick for an easy fit: cut the wires at an angle (30 degrees, 45 degrees) and slide them in from the other side so they align to the connector's spacing, then slide them in properly. The quickest, easiest connectors I've found that actually fit CAT6 solid ("outdoor") cable.

EZ up to a point ;)
Easy it is, however its a royal PITA to get the wires through. I get it, the easy part is to bundle these connectors with the EZ RJ Professional Heavy Duty Crimp Tool, it still takes way to long to make cable ends.

Very good connectors! This is my first time using this ...
Very good connectors! This is my first time using this type of RJ45 and I was impressed! Make sure you have the proper crimping tool for it though, Klein makes a really good one.

Awesome Idea
Great idea, works perfectly, you can pull the twisted pairs right up to the front.
