Great product
The product is wonderful. It keeps the cold drinks, cold and hot drinks hot the outside bottom is a little warm, but if you hold it where the little black sheath is on it, you have no problems. It’s easy to clean and you can see through it so you know how much fluid is left in the cup. I would recommend this to anyone.

I love this mug
This is my second Bodum travel press. I used one for 6 years 5 days a week before replacing it. So easy to make fresh coffee at my desk at work. It’s easy to use, well made, and keeps the fresh brewed coffee warm for over an hour.

Wonderful Quality; Weighs 16 Ounces Empty
This 20 fluid ounce travel mug is quite a bit larger than my others which hold the same amount because there is a larger air space between the inner and outer stainless steel layers. That air space does help to keep my coffee HOT longer.Things I like:1. The lid is screwed on not just pressed on. Now I'm not saying that I'm clumsy, but I have been known to drop a full travel mug upon occasion. The ones without screw tops tend to open and spew their contents all over everything and everyone nearby. Sigh. This lid screws on securely.2. The beige section is a grippy silicone. The silicone even has raised letters that enhance the grip. Holding it by this silicone section keeps the shiny stainless steel sections clean and neat with no fingerprints to mar the look.3. According to the directions on the box, it is dishwasher safe.4. There is a silicone ring on the very bottom that makes putting it down much quieter.5. Once open, the tab on the top can be snapped into position onto the other side of the lid so it isn't flopping around.Things I'm not wild about:1. The lid is a bit difficult to open. The tab that snaps over the edge is TIGHT and takes a bit of wrangling to open. I usually just keep the tab slightly open once I start drinking my coffee to avoid having to open it again.2. The wonderful insulation that keeps the coffee so hot also makes this a rather large item. It measures 3 1/4" across the bottom and is a really tight fit in the car's cupholders. It is tall and measures 10" with the lid screwed on.3. When closed the lid is not leakproof and isn't the best choice for days when I want a travel mug that I can just toss into my tote.

Bodum French Press - A Mug that Affords Sam I Am the Chance to Drink Perfect Coffee Everywhere
I have always loved Bodum products. I have the Bodum Chambord French Press Coffee Maker, and I love it so much that I decided to give the Bodum15oz Double Wall Travel Press French Press Mug a try. I love it as well! I used it during those days when the coffee maker turned off, but I still want a cup of coffee to go with my extra slice of carrot cake or key lime pie.I am still working on the “just the right” ratios of coffee and water, but I have not made a bad cup yet. But this is part of the fun of making coffee in a variety of ways. The Bodum travel press has the quality and refinement that I was expecting. I usually make my coffee in the French press and then pour it into a mug. I just prefer to manage a mug while working at my desk. My only concern is that I am finding it a bit difficult to clean. The spent grounds do not want to leave the warm confines at the bottom of the coffee maker without extreme actions on my part. The important thing is that the coffee made by this coffee maker is great! I do not think that I would apply the saying, “Good to the last drop,” to the resulting coffee. There appears to be a collection of sediments and a minute set of grounds that managed to slip through the silicone lined plugger. I do not view these collections of spent coffee to be unseemly, but it is not perfect in this way. Besides, this is the WAY of pressed coffee. Additionally, this is a small tradeoff for a robust and flavorful cup of coffee.I work from home (I spent eons commuting in my earlier life) so I am not transporting the Bodum 15-ounce coffee maker with me in my car, or in a train, or in a boat, or on a plane so I cannot say that I like Bodum French press coffee everywhere. The Bodum travel press makes the right amount of coffee for one person. (At least this is what I tell my wife.) The press was well conceptualized, and well executed. It does what the Bodum folks designed it to do – to make a bold, full-bodied coffee with strong flavors and aromas.Bravo to the folks at Bodum.

Good looking, easy to use mug, with limited insulation.
I love how this mug from Bodum looks and feels. I like how the clear plastic reveals the beverage inside, reminding me of my beloved glass Bodum teapot. The mug feels balanced in hand, and is easy to grip, thanks to the attractive raised graphics on the rubber sleeve. There's no fumbling with the lid because the raised lip leaves no doubt where the spout is, and the opening delivers just the right amount of liquid. I don't worry that the plastic lid will crack a tooth if I hit a pothole. It's easy to clean, and seems to be microwavable. In short, this mug design is well on its way to being one of my lifetime favorites. But, it is not without problems, failing to do some of the basics I require in a travel mug: It doesn't keep beverages at the desired temperature, and it will leak if not kept upright. I can deal with the latter, because it's more of a dribble than a flood, but I do need my coffee or tea to stay warm for at least an hour. My thick ceramic open mug keeps coffee warm longer than this container. I tested the mug by pre-warming it with hot water, then filling it with 148°F coffee. In 55 minutes, sitting unopened in a 74°F room, it had cooled to 116°F. Still drinkable, but for me, not enjoyable. In short, it's not ideal in the car, but I like the feel of the cup so much, I'm finding opportunities to use it. It's great when sitting at my desk, when I have access to hot coffee and a microwave.
