That's where this knife does the job.You see the knife has to be thin enough so that it does not need much pressure to travel through the food but also strong enough to not bend during the process, not to mention rust free, easy to clean and handle. Products took long to be delivered.. got it today ..well packed if you see the pictures.Blade is pretty sharp in the middle but the edge of the blade near the handle seems to be blunt..The first thing sliced was a tomato 🍅 and man! It did not disappoint me..Well the black handle of the knife is amazing when i talk about the grip.... But saw a bit of marks on itLight weight knifeThe blade is of 12 cm long and it's good enough for a kitchen knife...Go for it nothing to complain about

Loved it. Fantastic knife. Hope the knife does not loose its edge. As for Amazon, it was very well packed and I got it in time. (Just a word of caution, the knife is very very sharp if you are using Indian knives and not known to brands like Victorinox. It will easily cut your fingers)

The sharpness is not that goodUsing is past one month it seems that the blade sharpness has reduced

Finally,​ I got my hands on an international brand knife. It is very sharp. Can cut through onions with ease. Even ginger / green mangoes can be cut very ease. I was using very cheap and metal knives from my childhood, which tend to rust if you don't use it for a week. I searched for high carbon steel knives, so this one was my option. High carbon steel knives can be sharpened to maximize is efficiency. Caution to use this knife only by experienced knife handlers. Even if u hold in hand and peel the onions, it may take a shot on your finger. It may even cross through your finger nail as well. The handle is non-microbial and if you place on the table, the blade would not touch the table surface.

1.5 K for a knife? Seriously? I had these thoughts before buying. But wanted to test a theory - "what you pay is what you get". Turned out to be true for this one.The best knife we've ever had. Excellent sharpness. Sturdy handle and light weight. Cuts through vegetables with ease. For comparison had brought a 200Rs knife also - the difference is very evident when you use both.
