Excellent!
I was expecting to be disappointed by these, as I have hated so many headbands throughout life, and how on earth can spiky metal be comfy on your head? To my surprise I love them! I have had many headbands that either were too spiky or too tight, and hurt, or too smooth and loose, and failed to hold. These really are just right. I recommend getting a multipack like this because then you can try all the designs to find the perfect one for you. It may be a couple dollars less to get a single one but what if you pick the wrong style? Personally I found that the ones that stick out (the coil, or zigzag with points facing inward and outward) cause a mild scalp irritation that leads to a headache. My faves are the zigzags where the pints aim orward and backwardand the flat side touches the head- more even pressure. I have many times had to touch my head to check if I am wearing them, because I literally feel nothing from it on my scalp! With some headbands the teeth are only in the middle, so I like that these grip all the way end to end. They are loose enough that the tips do not dig in if placed right behind your ear, and if you wear it rather far back, it doesn't squeeze itself off the back of your head. You can put it wherever, and it will stay, and be comfy! Awesome! It seems these grip by their texture, not by tightness. Yet they don't get tangled when you go to take them off. At least not for me: caucasian, thick, curly, shoulder length hair. I'm only concerned that some day the plastic bits will fall off the ends, presumably revealing scratchy metal. When that day comes, if I find the plastic I can glue it back on. If not, well, I guess I can spend another five dollars.

Poor paint quality.
The hairbands arrived quickly as expect. Most of the hairbands didn't really fit, also expected There was only 1 that would work for me, but it held my short hair back perfectly. I needed the hairband for work to keep my hair back from my glasses and mask. The first time I wore it, the paint was beginning to chip off by the end of the day. Im not supposed to touch my hair at all at work. So the hairband was untouched all day. But I guess the paint is so poorly applied that it doesn't take much for it to come off. Skip the paint. Then there will be no problems with the paint chipping. What's in the paint that's chipping off on my head and face? Now the hairband looks sloppy and I can't wear it to work anymore. But not sure if I really want to wear it at all, after finding black specks on my forehead from the paint chipping. It was an inexpensive set of 5 hairbands. But when you can only wear 1 and after a week none at all, not such a great value. I guess you get what you pay for.

Works!
As cheap as I paid for them, but teen son who has been letting his hair grow out like a lion's mane since COVID and refuses to have it cut, loves to wear them to do the dishes. (Yes, I make him do the dishes in exchange of WiFi.)

Thin but holds well
These are thin, obviously, but they hold well and the tips at the ears are coated.

Great if you have COVID hair and no haircut
First time in my life i grew my hair long - i am a man.And these were very very easy to use. But 2/5 are somewhat wiry. The one that looks like a spring is not that useful.I wish i could mix and match.

These are definitely adult size for a woman's head
Some of the headbands are made for thin hair and some of mermaid for really thick hair, I can only use a few since my hair is so thin, but they are great headbands for the price!
