This pack of 12 skeins of thread is actually good value for money. I don’t think you can call them glittery though, they are shiny due to the metallic colours. The thread is nice and strong and looks effective. I would recommend this for any project where you want to add an extra bit of shine to it.

I got these metallic embroidery strings for hair braiding to compliment my collection of regular colours.I have never used metallic embroidery string before now, and it is a little different to regular cotton embroidery floss. This isn't cotton, it is synthetic, and it is a bit stiffer and not so soft, with a rougher texture. This means it is a bit more difficult to do finer work with the thread.I quite like this floss, it adds a bit of sparkle and stands out.
