You get what you pay for
The bakelite bottom of the heater was broken when this item was delivered. It emanated a dirty smell for a couple of days. The heating nevers stopped during its use. I think there is no temperature cut off.

Damaged piece....
There was a crack at the bottom. No customer would have bought this piece after seeing it. I am using it alright with regrets.

DON'T BOIL MILK BETTER IF WE USE TO BOIL WATER ONLY
LOTS OF BURNING SMELL AND SMOKE WHEN USED FIRST TIME BUT AFTER THREE FOUR USE IT WORKS OK. DON'T BOIL MILK BETTER IF WE USE TO BOIL WATER ONLY.
