An incredibly refreshing book which covers all aspects of motherhood from conception to birth and the next eighteen years! All teenage girls should be made to read this at school, it is the best contraceptive ever! Corinne Maier is extremely funny whilst covering the reality of pregnancy and childbirth. It is not glamorous and she tells it how it is. Most women would never admit such things and it is wonderful to read an honest account of how your life changes from the minute you conceive. Yummy Mummies will be horrified. If you have a teenage daughter, buy her this book, it's the best thing you could ever do.

With such an interesting title the author could have done a much better job.

Loved this book. As a childfree woman, it was great to hear about what parenting actually involves, and to hear a parent being honest about it. Parenting is not for everyone; it is difficult, but can be very rewarding for those that go into it with an understanding about how challenging it can be.

This is the most honest book about parenting I have ever read. If you in doubt, please read this book.

I recommend it to everyone!
