Ever since I contracted Lyme with Morgellon’s I’ve been looking for a product that: a) soothes my skin, b) heals the sores, c)stops the itching, d) helps remove the fibers, e) moisturizes. This product does all that. It is not a cure, but it certainly helps. It has anti viral, antibacterial, antiinflammatory and organic lipids properties that don’t seem to egg on the processes that causes fibers to form. Highly recommend it over the numerous others I’ve tried:coconut, oil, grape seed, sesame, avocado, emu, castor, aloe Vera, or any over the counter anti bacterial, antifungal, steroid or anti aging cream and any of the essential oils. It is not sticky or greasy on your skin and it immediately softens and also helps the skin kick out the hair follicle blockages. Helps with cracks in lichen planar and lichen sclerosis skin and softens the facial skin as well without aggravating acne. My first bottle was only $9 but since it is a product from overseas, Amazon hasn’t stocked in warehouse, so my next bottles were ~$24.00 each. Shipping takes awhile because among other things it goes through customs. But the cost and wait are worth it and both will likely lessen if more people order from Amazon.It is also a non animal product and is used to as animal feed in Middle Eastern countries because they have so much - so it is eco friendly as well. I am trying date seed coffee next to see if internally it has the same benefits.

Stumbled over this while looking for essential oils & I don't understand why I haven't heard of barbary fig oil earlier. I have some serious, long-term problem skin on my chin & after just a few days of using this, I am starting to see a difference I wasn't seeing in other serums I had been using (& I have tried a lot of products from all over the globe). I would be surprised if it could restore my skin completely (the scars are just too established), but I could see this being an effective tool in limiting the problems so that I can finally start healing & maybe correct the discoloration (some of the smaller spots are already starting to fade). Full disclosure in that I have gotten a couple of very small whiteheads that disappear very (abnormally, for me) quickly after using this, but I think that's because I've been using this in the morning, not just at night. & frankly, I will take a little pimple that goes away in a day with no extra treatment/care over the unending cysts I was suffering from.

Very disappointed with this shipment of oil. I ordered 3 of these as I had never had issues before and always order in bulk. All 3 of these bottles are rancid or something, I opened all 3 because clearly something wasn't right with the first 2. The smell is so bad I can hardly tolerate it on my face. The coloring is extremely dark for the product in the dropper. Unlike the oil I have purchased from another seller that absorbs welland has a matte finish, this one is extremely oily and glossy on the face.

Used as a topical ointment for skin and kept breakouts cleared up. Simple solution to itchy, patchy skin.

Not a fan. This actually has a bit of an unpleasant order not a clean, or earthy smell. It was purchased for a toddlers eczema and its not a good smell, made me want to wash it off.

I love this oil it really feels great! Used all over body and face and felt so great on the skin, did not make my face breakout and left my skin super soft! Feels very hydrating. I can’t wait to try it in my hair!

I love this oil, it creates the softest skin. The only thing that irritates me is it takes so long to get.The oil doesn’t have a dropper and it pours out fast so a lot of care needs to happen when putting into your hand.

I ordered Barbary fig seed oil but received prickly pear seed oil. Are they the same? Regardless of that, I wanted to let you know that the oil is amazing! I have used it for two days now. I put it on at night the first day it arrived and the next morning I saw a visible difference in the small lines around my eyes. They were gone! I have never seen that kind of a result from anything else I have used. I started removing all of the toxic makeup and skincare products from my routine a few years ago and it was tough giving up retinol but this oil gives retinol a run for its money!
