Mellif 20V Battery and Charger Kit, 4.0Ah Lithium Ion Battery, 4 Amp Rapid-Charger, Rechargeable, 10C/40Amps, Compatible with Mellif 20V Tools & Batteries

I have been a fan of the Mellif tool and battery line for about a year now, this battery and charger combo lived up to my expectations of being a high quality tool. The battery came with about two bars out of three of charge already on it. I topped it off with the included charger. The fit in the charger was firm with no wiggle and the charge duration is about what I'd expect from a quality charger. The battery fit in my Dewalt impact just fine and it operated at what seemed to be full torque.

I ordered this huge 4.0Ah battery from Mellif because I have both Mellif and DeWalt tools that will benefit from having a larger battery. I like the Mellif batteries because they are built like tanks and have a large clear capacity indicator that runs down both sides of the battery. The battery came with a large 4.0A charger but also charges with my smaller 2.0A Mellif charger (albeit more slowly). It arrived fully charged and I have yet to run it down significantly.The battery is compatible with all DeWalt 20V Max and Mellif 20V tools, even the Mellif portable pump! However, Mellif batteries should only be charged with the Mellif charger. The DeWalt charger refuses to charge Mellif batteries, and the Mellif charger can damage a DeWalt battery so don't try to mix and match!So far I'm happy with this set.

This large battery is well built, fits Dewalt 20V tools, and holds a charge for an impressive time. Perfect price and performance for a backup battery. As others have noted, will not charge Dewalt batteries. Out of caution, I would not try, and would not leave charging its battery unattended or overnight. Just saying.

Well upon purchase this charger and battery said "compatible". Yes the battery is compatible. It fit and ran my tools no problem and worked great. Lasted well. The problem is the charger. It is not compatible. It will charge the battery it comes with and nothing else. The prongs are different from other chargers. I find it odd that the battery even works in my tools being different but it does. So beware if you need this for a second charger as I did, it will not work.

Item arrived next day.Nice charger and battery which works with my other Mellif tools. Nice to have an extra set of batteries charged and ready when I am working on a project.

The media could not be loaded. Battery does not fit in the Mellif 20V transfer pump. Fortunately, I have a 20V DeWalt battery which fits; although the battery cover does not completely close. Can’t say I’m impressed so far with the overall design quality of the Mellif pump!

I have a cordless vacuum that came with the smallest battery available for items like this and I really needed some more runtime. This battery from Millif suits my needs perfectly. It is twice the size of the original which gives me 3 times the runtime in total. The battery charges, discharges and otherwise operates at just a slightly warm temperature without any odd, burning smells. If long term issues show up I will be back with an update but, so far so good.
