It ties on so it fits most sizes I'm a 3x normally untouched will need a underskirt or shorts or something else.

I ordered this as part of a last-minute ensemble for pirate day at the Renaissance fair. Paired with an off the shoulder white gauzy top and striped corset and flat boots and it was perfect! I normally wear an 8-10 and ordered a Large just to be safe. A Medium would probably have for fine but the strings made it easy to adjust. I cinched up the front to show a little leg! The fabric was nice and crisp and although required a lot of tedious ironing it was so worth it!

I love this skirt and I'm so glad that I bought it. It fits great and is very comfortable. The waist has a generous amount of elastic in the back and is flat in the front so it goes on nicely and stretches out well to slip the skirt on up over the hips and to fit a bigger waist but it still lays nice and flat in the front. It's not too high-wasted but it's designed just right to be complimentary to the waistline.You can pull up the strings on either side of the front to make it gather on each side of the front so you can put a full-length petticoat under it and it shows under the skirt nicely, as much as you want it to show or not. The skirt drapes nicely all around and is very comfortable to wear. It's well-made, durable, and it washed well. I washed it in a mesh bag on the gentle cycle in the machine and it came out great. It was a little wrinkly but fell smooth after wearing it a bit.I ordered an XL and I wear a size 20-22. My waist is 45" when I measure it and my hips are 48" so I sometimes have trouble finding things that fit my waist but this fit perfectly. I would recommend it.

I have been looking for this type of skirt for a while now. Even my son liked this one! He is 15. I am 5'3" 122 lbs. 35-28-34. Med worked nice. A little long but adds to the goth flavor. It looks steampunk/goth....love the gathered rear area. Very soft. Not scratchy. I looked and looked at the kind that tie on and are just the scratchy looking veil material...net...but wanted something more...think I found the right one. You can layer over leggings or a short black skirt...looks good with my short black tutu type skirt too! It is good quality and lots cheaper than other options even on ebay. It ties on at the waist.

Perfect skirt for my steampunk costume. I got a large. I'm 5'9" and weigh 185 lbs. Fit well. Only thing is that it smells really bad right out of the package. I suggest airing it out or washing it.

Loved it. Easy to put on, it was a little bigger than expected but worked out great.

Ordered on Aug.17, received on Aug 29! Way early, so happy! My waist 38 1/2" , which is an XL on the chart, but I decided to order one size down to the large. Glad I did! The XL would have closed completely, and that's not how it's supposed to look. So elegant! I wish we were opera fans, I would wear this, but I'll just have to find reasons to wear it, other than Halloween or Steampunk events. It also makes a gorgeous cape. Love, love, love this. They put two loops inside to make hanging it up easier, nice touch, appreciated. This goes great over the short buckled skirt from the same manufacturer. That is an awesome piece, too. All the others that look like it get very bad reviews, so they must be trying to copy this manufacturers piece, but not doing it well. Belle Poche, the only way to go!

While the idea of a tie-on bustle skirt is a good one, this particular product is very cheaply made. The design is nice, but the fabric is the cheapest stuff I've ever seen, as if it came from the worst costume store ever, and the tulle/netting underneath rips at a moment's notice. It's not worth the money, in my opinion. So yeah...it sucks.
