Quite fragrant. It went well in our brownies and baklava.

Delicate scent
I ordered this to try for my rose macaron buttercream filling. The Noirot brand has a delicate rose scent and taste. Perfect substitute for the more expensive organic bulgarian rose oil. I love it.I initially tried to use the Alwadi rose water for my macaron but the scent and taste is overpowering even on small amounts. Tasted very musky. I used it as a toner instead and i loved it. I haven't tried the Cortas brand yet.For women who are familiar with fragrances: Noirot is L'air du Temps while Alwadi is Youth Dew.

Wasnted to stop and smell the roses...
Came on time, carefully packaged. The flavor was not strong enough. Used it to make an old world rosewater and pistascio pudding. Very disappointing.

a rose by any other name!
In the July/Aug issue of Victoria Bliss Magazine there was a recipe for Raspberry Rose Blancmange. I was pleased to find this culinary rose water on amazon because it's not like it's a staple at the market- am I right? I ordered it on a Friday I think and it was there by Monday- woosh- super fast! I was able to create the Blancmange for a garden party on Tuesday evening (mid-summer night). There is nothing quite as poetic, romantic, or exotic as edible and fragrant flora.
