I am usually a size 10 so ordered size M, but it is very tight fit, I should have ordered a size up. I still can wear it and the inner layer is not so stretchy so keeps the tummy in. (however I would not call it tummy-control). I am 5'3'' and found the length of the body of this swim dress a tad short.

I love this swimming costume. It fits me very well, is comfortable, made of good quality material and is very flattering which in turn has given me so much confidence.I love that it covers the tops of my legs which is one area I don't like to show.The band under the bust is sliming along with the A-line skirt. Can't recommend it enough. I am a size 16 and about 5ft 2".Good value for money too.

I am a UK size 18-20 and I got the 3xl which is supposedly a UK size 20, so sized up 1 size from what I get on the high street, which I am used to from Asian produced clothing. If I am perfectly honest, you’d be better sizing up 2 sizes for this item.It fit, just about. It was comfortable enough around my middle which is my widest part. The issue really lay with the cut of the swimsuit. You expect with a swim dress that it is going to skim your wobbly bits but the torso part is cut too short, so it actually shows the wobbly areas. I am a short girl (5ft 4) so you would expect I would have the opposite problem, but this is cut more like a petite swimming costume for people far shorter than the UK average of 5ft 6. The straps on the costume are also far too short so they dig in and they are not adjustable, once again it is clear that this is more the proportions for someone petite and hasn’t been scaled up correctly for the uk market or for someone plus size.Lastly, the cup padding in the bra area is way off where it should be - on one side. No matter of adjusting got it right on my figure - the pad on one side was basically to my armpit and it made me look visibly lopsided when I am not. Unlike other swimming costumes, the bra padding was not removable without cutting into the swimsuit.At £27 at time of review, this isn’t a cheap swimsuit and I recommend you spend your money elsewhere
