Inmotion Electric Unicycle for Adults 16 Inch Self-Balancing One Wheel EUC, Portable Monowheel for Urban Commuting

This is the updated version of the V12 high torque.It has the improved MOSFETs & the raptor controller. Supposedly more powerful and more efficient. Knowing Inmotion it's probably much safer as well. Haven't had a chance to take it out yet but I'm looking forward to it. Better price than on other sites, got it in 2 days. Thank you Amazon.

I would have given this wheel five stars but I had some problems with it. I had to purchase the wheel twice. The first one arrived broken out of the box so I had to send it back and get a new one. Other than that this wheel is fantastic. Once you get the hang of it riding down the street at high speeds feeling the cool wind against your skin is an experience like no other. Although I will note that this wheel can be lethal if not used safely (obviously) so if you decide to buy it I think it’s worth the price just please be aware and don’t be stupid.

This is my third InMotion unicycle in a row that I have to return without even using it, because it is not working. My first one was a V5, I enjoyed it so much, but only for two days, then after a short beep it refused to ever turn on again.The second one was a V10F which never self-balanced after being turned on, despite being registered with InMotion app and added to my devices.This third EUC is a V12, which self-balanced for a second when I took it out of the box, then refused to ever balance again after I accepted a firmware update when the update failed. Needless to say, I turned it on and off several times, removed the device and added it again to the app, made sure InMotion app itself is also up-to-date; all in vain! The firmware update never succeeded and the EUC never self-balanced again.Very disappointed at InMotion products in general and not just the V12.

The media could not be loaded.  I have owned an InMotion V8F for a few years now and logged a little over 800 miles on it. I finally decided to upgrade to the V12. Initially, the doubled weight made this wheel very hard to get used to. I was encountering wobbling I had never experienced, and the turning felt quite different. I was beginning to worry if it was too much wheel for me despite being an EUC rider for years. I ended up setting my pedals to the lowest position and reducing the top speed to 22 mph (same as V8F). I rode it that way for a while until I got used to it, and then uncapped the speed limit. Now I'm regularly hitting 30 mph and feeling pretty comfortable on it. The range on this wheel is spectacular and I feel confident with the power it can output. It's also a great tool to use when taking my husky on a run, as she wants to go faster than I can go without the help of my V12. If you're still on the fence about upgrading, I highly recommend it. Just go easy until you get used to the weight/handling.

I had to return mine but the company was super helpful with that and the wheel its self is epic! Be wary though it is extremely heavy that made it difficult to work it for sure.ALSO be very aware of your cities laws on these things, in Philly it is illegal to ride these anywhere except bike lanes and side walks

The v12 works just fine, it's definitely a learning curve, but I'm getting it.Only problem was the charger caught fire after an hour of use, and so I am once again waiting to ride.The support team was quick to respond, they are sending a new charger, didn't even ask for my old one, which is great because I was worried that I'd have to send in the broken one then wait for them to replace it.So if the replacement charger doesn't catch fire then I'll give them 5 stars.

Wheel was great up untill it shut down while I was doing 27mph....I was slammed into pavement and got some nasty road rash on legs. The unit tumbled into a car like a wrecking ball denting the drivers side door then slid into the curb. I am lucky to be alive. After some research it appears others have had this issue as well. I really enjoyed the unit and understand the risks involved but am certain this unit was defective. It's now a 2000 dollar paper weight it will not power on without the charging cable plugged in...... Once removed it shuts down instantly.... I really liked everything about it and I am hoping it was a defictive unit but as it stands I can not recommend it. If you buy one of these I would highly suggest you gear up cause you will go down.
