This is awesome!
This arrived in a fold-out cardboard box and the cooling pad was in perfect shape. It came with a tiny piece of paper with some instructions on it but it's pretty simple to use - the cord plus into a USB and then you click the button and twist the dials. The button clicks cycle through various forms for the lights, including an off mode. The dials operate different fans in the base - one dial turns on/off/up/down one large fan in the middle as well as two smaller fans in the upper left and right corners and then the other dial turns on/off/up/down two smaller fans in the lower left and right corners. There is a second USB-A slot in the back that I imagine you could plug a phone charger or something into if needed. Before I move to what I do like, I want to mention a few "issues" I have with it. First, my phone doesn't fit in the phone holder. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in an Otterbox Defender case so I never expected it would so it's no loss to me. Second, the USB-A to USB-A cord it came with is super short. I got a new one for less than five bucks so I'm not annoyed by that, either. The third thing is that I'm not sure my RGB lights work right. In the product listing it shows that the RGD lights change position almost like they're moving through a cycle. I've tested mine multiple times for both short and long periods and no matter which of the light cycles I choose my light positions never change - they continue to stay in the same position. For me that means that from the front bottom up to the side back it's: red, blue, green, orange, white (oddly), then purple. That white bit makes me think that maybe my lights are just not working right but since this works beautifully otherwise I'm not mad about it. Lastly, the quality is perhaps not the absolute best. That's not to say it's not a good value and, for the cost, I think you're getting a great deal. Still, if you are looking for something for a child or that you could take for travel without breaking, this probably isn't it.In terms of use this is super easy to set up, as mentioned above. Using the original cord I plugged it into the top of my desktop tower computer and it reached the top of my desk fine. I haven't tried to use both USB's at once so I can't confirm if it impacts anything. The pad positions are super easy to switch up and stay in place - the little tab in the front does a great job of holding my laptop up when it's on even the highest tilt. The best part for me are the fans. They glow blue when on and the air flow is impressive. The pad is slightly longer on the left side than the right which means that when my internal laptop fans blow out the hot air, the cooling fan blows it right away. My laptop is an old girl and gets very hot very quickly with use. IT keeps threatening to replace her and with the worry of over-heating I was afraid I'd have to give in. Happily this cooling pad works so well that I'm looking forward to keeping hold of my beloved laptop for a good while longer.10/10 would recommend.

Perfect for My Needs
I have very limited desktop real estate and this LIANGSTAR Laptop Cooling Pad is a huge improvement over my old one because it has a considerably smaller footprint, yet supports my 17.3" laptop perfectly, at just the right angle for comfortable, extended use of the laptop's keyboard. The four-inch wide, fold-out "lip" at the front of the cooler keeps the laptop from sliding down when inclined. This is much better than on my previous laptop cooler, which only had two narrow fold-out "prongs", which kept becoming detached, allowing the computer to slide down. With all five fans (a large one in the middle, flanked by two smaller ones on either side) running at full speed, I can barely hear them, yet they keep the air moving enough to keep my laptop (which runs on the 'very warm' side, normally) cool. This is important to me because I run my computer pretty hard using music production software which can be very CPU-intensive (i.e., cause a significant amount of heat generation). I'm only an occasional gamer, but the advantages in thermal management provided by this cooling pad are very welcome for those times, too.I like the multi-color/multi-mode edge LED display for when I want to chill and just have fun, but I'll likely be keeping it turned off (there's a switch for that on the back of the unit), most of the time, as I find such things a little too distracting for serious work. But that's just me.This LIANGSTAR Laptop Cooling Pad features two USB A ports, two rotary fan speed controls (one for the large, center fan, and one for the four smaller fans), and the on/off button for the edge LED display. There is also a (cold) phone holder bracket that stows in the bottom of the back edge of the main cooler body. In use, this phone holder can be placed at either side of the base of the laptop cooler. However, there is no way to adjust the angle of the phone from 90° (perfectly vertical). My phone has a very thin case on it but, due to the case, will not fit into this holder. There is no built-in provision for charging the phone while in this holder, nor accommodation for adding one. All of these things add up to make this feature useless, to me, so it will remain in its storage cubby. By no means a huge loss for me, though, as I have no real need for such a feature. My only "gripe" is that the metal plate which forms the top surface of this laptop cooler is quite slick and there is nothing to prevent lateral sliding of a larger laptop, like mine, which is at the top of the usable size range specified. This is easily remedied but a bit of a hassle, out of the box. Hence, four stars. (Note: If you're using an external keyboard, this very likely won't be an issue, at all.)All things considered, the pros far outweigh the minor cons and I really like this LIANGSTAR Laptop Cooling Pad. It has a great feature set, especially at this price point.

LAPTOP - COOLING - PAD - GAMING - QUIET FANS - METAL PAD - LARGE - USB-C - USB-A
This is a great product for myself who plays games and/or watches movies on my laptop all day or when I have the time after work. The fans are silent and quiet when I'm using the pad. The pad is made out of metal and is large enough to hold a 17" laptop. It has kept my laptop cold while I'm using it for either work or playing games or even watching movies/shows all day. I have been using this alot as I do work from home sometimes and it has kept my battery intact and it doesn't drain too fast with it heating up too fast. This has helped my laptop cool down during work and/or play. It is connected via usb-c to usb-a to your laptop. I fully recommend.

Perfect for my work setup
I got this to prop up my work laptop better when using as a third screen and to keep it cooled as it was always getting hot from sitting on the desk. I do have the stand on the highest spot for reference. There are 5 fans total. One large middle fan and one smaller one in each corner. The fans keep my laptop cool and have definitely helped. The fans quiet for office setting. You can hear it a little bit if you are listening for it but not much. I would say the fan power is perfect for all your standard laptops but might need something stronger for a heavy gaming setup. The lights for each fan come on when you turn it on. While you can’t turn that light off while in use, you won’t notice the light if you have your laptop on the stand if the lights are on. I keep the side lights off while in the office but wanted to show how it looks with them on. I also don’t plan to use the phone stand. I have an iPhone 13 plus but will need to take off my otter box in order for it to fit the stand. Overall, perfect for my need.
