I haven't tried many other such products before. I used this compost maker and have been able to make very good quality compost in a short span of time. The main advantage I found with this compost maker is that it quickly absorbs excess water from decaying plant waste and keeps the moisture levels well controlled. It also keeps the composting materials free from bad odour.Apart from that I found it practical to use this specific compost maker because it was sold for a fair price (Rs 556 for 4x1.1kg packs), considering that it wouldn't make sense to spend too much on a computer maker unless it could benefit far more efficiently than its investment cost.

Very effective mix of microbes to get composting done. Within 5 to 6 days compost pile starts to turn dark in color and in about 3 weeks after adding your last batch of kitchen waste compost would be ready. Dark rich compost is obtained. I got about 5 kg semi weight compost by using 1 kg biobloom air. No bad smell.

Seems more like cocopeat rather than accelerator.

We have been composting all our vegetable wastes with earthworm composting for many years on our terrace in Mumbai.Due to difficulties in procuring earthworms and cow dung and the pests which devoured the earthworms we were looking at an alternative solution.Nothing was working as well till I tried this product in the last few weeks. We just use a large aluminium vessel with small holes for aeration.Fill all vegetable wastes and them adding this product has produced fertilizer very fast. Fungal growth is seen on the surface. We keep mixing daily.Not sure what this contains wrt microorganisms but it works fast and well. Would be happy to know the microbial content of the BIO BLOOM if the manufacturers are happy to share.

Product delivered on timeAmazing packing and product expiry date is December 2017 so not bad---------------------------------------------------------------PROS:1) good packing with proper instructions on website2) cheapest microbe powder available to make compost faster3) provides 4 packets and each packet expands 4-5 times its actual size ( 1 packet can easily fill 1/4th of my 90 litre blue drum ~~see image )4) kitchen waste doesn't smell if you cover the waste with the powder completely5) if covered with paper there are no fruit fly6) process of making the compost is faster. In 15 days I can see the waste started turning black.( I used the daily dump compost powder earlier and the same size drum took me 2 &1/2 months to make the final compost ) will keep on updating on this product every week7) the tap can be opened every alternate day and the liquid fertilizer can be removed and mixed with water to give it to the plants---------------------------------------------------------------CONS:Couldn't think of any will update if I face any problem---------------------------------------------------------------ADVICE WHILE USING THE POWDER:1) keep it away from sunlight and water and place it in a air tight container2) out of the 4 packets open only 1 until it's used up and finish it in a span of 45 days .3) keep proper aeration by making holes in the container ( see image )4) before you start composting put 1-2 inch of this powder followed by your kitchen waste5) cover the entire kitchen waste with powder initially so that to avoid the smell and fruit flies.6) cover the waste before shutting the bin lid with paper and change the paper daily if possible ( note the paper will become wet because of the heat production inside the bin so it is better to change it every day or every alternate day )7) strongly recommend everyone to turn the waste every alternate day upside down for proper aeration and faster composting ( I do not agree with the description given on amazon )-------------------------------------------------------------TIPS TO MAKE A HOME MADE COMPOST BIN:1) buy any big plastic container( preferred) with a lid and if possible go for the blue water drum with 2 handles at the side ( see image )2) either use a drill machine or a screw driver to make holes at every level of the drum and the lid for aeration (see image )3) buy a plastic tap and place it as low as possible to remove the liquid waste which acts as fertilizer ( mix the liquid fertilizer with water and put it in the plants )-------------------------------------------------------------TIPS TO AVOID FRUIT FLY/INSECTS:1) cover the waste completely with the powder and put newspaper on top before closing the lid2) if there are fruit flies/insects even after covering with the powder then you can sprinkle haldi ( turmeric powder) at the side of the drum and very important on the inner surface of the lid to prevent insects ( natural insect repellent) or you can buy neem powder from amazon or from local market and sprinkle a handful of it once or twice a week but it will be expensive compared to haldi-----------------------------------------------------------CONCLUSION:Highly recommend this compost making powder for those who wish to make their kitchen and garden waste into natural organic compost at home-----------------------------------------------------------UPDATE (1st October 2017) : video of the compost that is almost ready in the compost bin.-----------------------------------------------------------UPDATE (10th October 2017): compost is finally ready. It is very important to remove the compost from the bin and dry it under the sun for a day or two and Allow it to dry (see images) .TIPS while drying: place a old bed sheet with paper on top before spreading the compost evenly.-----------------------------------------------------------UPDATE(27th December 2017): the seller has increased the price by 200 Rs .(earlier 556Rs now 756Rs) .Humble request to reduce the price .
