I ordered this for my three year old son, who has very quickly memorised the entire book. He absolutely loves the vibrant illustrations which fill the pages and the easy rhyming story is very effective and is easy to memorise.The book itself isn't very long, and each double page has a four line poem on it. There are plenty of bright coloured illustrations on every page filling the pages completely to keep the child busy with pointing out various items or actions.Makes for a fantastic reading time and even if kids flick through on their own they can read it from memory due to ease of the rhyming story.

We were given this book when our baby, now 9 months, was around 2 months and we were reading it to him from the start. For a few months, it was the only book we could read to him and it is still a huge favourite. The rhyme is perfect and the illustrations are gorgeous. I've given it to a number of friends with babies now. I've struggled to find a book for our baby which does as good a job all round. So glad we were given it; I wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

My 3yr old daughter loves this book. She counts the fishes, other animals and loves reading about all the places bear goes. She especially likes the part that says "please wait for me!"
