NBU Women Midi Stretchy Pencil Skirt

So, this is actually the second time I tried to get pretty much the same skirt (different pattern and apparently fabric). The first time I read all the reviews talking about how small they ran so I overcompensated and ordered a large. It was insanely big- I almost could fit another me inside (esp with the stretch).So when I decided that it was worth the 12 bucks to risk it again (I really needed a basic pencil skirt in my life lol), I knew for sure to order a small.Well, the small fits way better than the large did, but it's basically spraypaint tight.I should have had a little faith and ordered a medium (like, you know, my ACTUAL six-month figure), but here's the thing-its still a fantastic skirt. I wore it the other day and it was stylish, functional and even comfortable! Despite the human error involved (me).I deducted one star because it seemed like the skirt had a zipper, which it does NOT-heads up, and because there's something odd about the hem. Either it should taper in more and be a true pencil (preferably with a slit) or relax more and be an a line skirt.I'm 5'4 and about 127. I usually wear between a 6-8 in bottoms, depending on the cut and fabric and brand etc-y'all know how it is. I ordered a small when I probably should have gone with a medium, but I still love and wear the skirt.

I like the fit but very disappointed in the way it was made. I've attached a picture of how the waist was not sewed.

I love this skirt! Stretchy, comfy, and nice fabric. Great for the price. Pay attention to length though. I am only 5'1 and it is pretty long. I knew it would be from the measurements. I fold the top band inside to help shorten it. It doesn't bother me, but it might bug some people.

Great office skirt. Doesn't ride. Nice Material, a bit thin I suppose. But all in all, I would order again for sure. I'm long and about 5'8" 180/sizeL worked for me.

Fits perfect, wore this skirt at a Lemonade/Beyoncé themed party

I bought three of this skirt (black, plum, and green), but I'm only going to post once because I think this review will show under all of them and I don't want to skew their number.But this was just too large, and the cut was very basic (as expected)...but there are no other redeeming qualities (pattern, texture, etc) to make up for the lack of fit. I feel like this is what I would have ended up with had I gotten a pattern and sewn it myself. It would work to cover me up, but I wouldn't wear it in public and feel confident. I'll stick with the cute patterned ones that have more going for them.I do think this would work well for a larger-figured lady who may not want "quite" as much of a fit, but still a little shape to it. Pair it with a patterned top and it could work.

Cheap material and no lining. I couldn't even tuck my shirt into it without the outline showing. However, I'm very short and was concerned the skirt would be too long but it was a great length on me.
