It Works, but needs refilled frequently
I have acers of woods in my back yard so I get all kinds of insects in my yard and on my patio. I initially liked this option because it does not use a chemical that gets sprayed around and on my house. I used the one of the recipes that came with the catcher and the results were outstanding. It captured over a dozen hornets in the first 24hours. I'll admit, it was gross to empty it out, but at least they were all dead! Because it is only filled with a little of the concoction, it gets soaked up by the dead bugs, or evaporates quickly. I have to refill it about every three days. But I prefer this to a toxic chemical. Now I have lost the insert with the recipes and I am desperately trying to find it. I have attempted a few other recipes I found on the internet, but none worked as well as one of the ones included with the catchers. Hopefully, I'll find it soon, if not, I will go ahead and repurchase just to get that recipe! I can put two more to use anyway. I highly recommend this and will literally buy it again!

They Work!
I've used these in the past while camping. I'm looking forward to using them again on my next camping trip. I fill mine with raw pork and apple juice. Attracts bees and keeps them away from my kids.

We didn’t have a wasp problem until I put these out
The media could not be loaded. I put these up early to be proactive before the fall wasps got really busy. At the time, I rarely saw wasps. They’ve worked so good that we now have a wasp problem. They are everywhere, all over our garden, the trees, our flower beds. I think we are attracting wasps from all over the neighborhood. I am going to buy more traps and set them up farther away from where we spend time as a service to all of our neighbors. Plus I really like seeing them dead. I’m using recipe #3.

Game-Changer for Pest Control: Effective, Economical, and Bee-Friendly Solution
I was battling swarms of wasps and yellow jackets near my front porch, an issue that had me spending money on wasp spray with little success. Then, I discovered this incredible product. I set it up one morning before heading to work, and when I returned that evening, I found over 15 red wasps and more than 20 yellow jackets trapped inside, without harming a single bee! This trap has truly been a life-changer for me.The setup is simple, and the instructions are clear. I used 4 tablespoons of sugar, a shot of white vinegar, a shot of wheat beer, and a shot of juice, exactly as specified. Although the beer can be substituted with extra juice, I found the recommended mixture to be highly effective. Once the insects enter the trap, they can't escape, making it an excellent solution for pest control.Investing in this product has been the best decision I've made for handling pest issues near my porch. It's completely worth it, and I highly recommend it to anyone facing similar problems. Trust me; this could be the solution you've been looking for!

My new favorite wasp/hornet trap
I usually use the yellow trap sticks. These work quite well for me and typically catch around 100 per stick. The downside is that you have to keep buying them.I saw these reusable units and was intrigued by the reusability and lack of chemicals. I decided to give them a try and am glad I did. I purchased 4 units. The first week I tried one of the recipes included (sugar, vinegar, and a kids fruit juice). Ok result first week (maybe 6-10 per trap). Week 2 I tried apple juice and sugar and that did the trick. I used that for the next 2 weeks consistently catching about 2 1/2 dozen per trap per week. At the end of the week, I submerge them in a bucket of water to make sure they are all dead, then spray out the inside with a garden hose (the dead ones stick to the evaporated sugar mixture). Fill them back up and rehang.I have noticed mainly wasps and hornets caught with some flies. Haven't noticed any honey bees caught (good thing), even in the one near flowers that get a decent amount if bees. The units are a 4 piece, snap together design with a long hanging string. They have held up to a wind storm (I have them all hung in areas with some degree of wind protection. My only complaint is the bottom bowl is a little shallow and you get a little spillage of the liquid if the unit tips. But that is a minor complaint. Cant argue with the results. I expect to get 2-3 years out of them if I take them down in the winter. Good bargain compared to my previous go to.

Works Sorta
Attracts everything except the red wasps. The clean out is a bit messy.

They work!
We had a horrible yellow jacket problem around our chicken run, my poor girls couldn't even eat their treats without being swarmed by yellow jackets. I mixed some sugar and apple cider vinegar and put the two of them up on the outside of their run. This caught 50 to 75 I would estimate. The second time I put them up I put a couple of drops of dish washing detergent in the mixture, that way when they hit the water mixture it killed them. As bad as I hate them I hate to see anything suffer plus this way we didn't have to submerge the things to kill them all before we could empty it.
