It's ah film and if you like weepers you will like this film have tissues ready it is also ah heart warming film

Jack & Sarah is probably one of my favourite films. Richard E. Grant is perfect in a rather atypical role for him, and the chemistry between he and Samantha Mathis is palpable. Moreover, this is a film with real bite and weight, and in the end it is far more than a romantic comedy. It deals with bereavement, loneliness, parenthood, homelessness, love and much more besides. Grant is typically hilarious and is aided by the authentic and understated performances of an exceptional supporting cast: Judi Dench, Eileen Atkins and Ian McKellen being but a few examples. This is one for the collection.

I love this film, made me laugh and cry, goo family film

Enjoyed this strong ensemble cast giving it a good go. Some genuinely funny moments. Feelgood and heart-warming or a bit sickly sweet depending on your view. Ian McKellan hamming it up for all he's worth! Got to be worth a change from yet more reality TV and soaps.

An enjoyable film, sad in parts, Richard E Grant is superb as always.

One first glance this wouldn't be the type of film that I'd be really interested in, but I'm glad that I did take an interest in it as it's a wonderful film. it tskes you through many ranges of emotion. happy, sad, angry. A stellar cast ofgreat actors. A really nice film to wathc with that special person curled up on the sofa together, just make sure you do have some tissues as there are some moments where you'll need them.All in all a really nice and heartfelt film.

Had this on VHS back in the day so bought on DVD to watch during lockdown.Prompt delivery, decent packaging & film still very enjoyable.

Jack and Sarah is charming, touching and funny. Every actor in it holds his or her own and the film is just a pleasure to watch. Richard E. Grant is so many things at once - suave, dignified but vulnerable, affectionate, caring, sympathetic. He's captivating. It's rare to see those characteristics portrayed so well on screen. As said earlier, all the other characters hold their own. The great Judi Dench and the impeccable Ian Mckellen deliver wonderful performances. The entire ensemble never disappoints. A charming, wonderful feel-good movie. It will make you smile.
