Fantastic lighting, fantastic value for the set
I did receive this set via the Vine program, and my thanks to the manufacturer/seller and Amazon for providing it! I recently had the opportunity to request this and a larger set. Once you plug in the first, you'll realize that a large number of these is essential to get, because you will start thinking about every light bulb in your house to replace! At only 15 watts each, they shouldn't require rewiring sockets, or relying on different breaker circuits, to handle extra electricity. And they're really a great price for LEDs whose warmth can be changed on a whim. These are light enough that if you don't use the supplied wire hooks, they could hold to a ceiling or housing by a couple of strips of quality double-sided mounting tape. One is very close to me right now in my floor lamp (the kind that can point up for wide-angled illumination). It's amazing how much illumination these LEDs provide, even on the second-yellowest setting.

I’m torn on how I feel about these.
First I should probably mention that the light output is good. They are plenty bright and they behave well with my existing dimmer. The construction is good. They feel solid and I had zero issues with the quality and finish. They are what they are advertised to be. The flush appearance is clean and nice looking regarding design.I did have to adjust the prongs outward a little to get them to grab the existing pots a little better. They get hot. While I was adjusting the hue switches to see which we preferred I could feel that the transformer/module of where the wires connect on the back was more than warm, it was borderline hot. Which is why I rated 3 stars and not 5. This could be a problem.Lastly, for me, it came down to preference. The warm setting was a little too yellow/orange for my liking and the next click up is too white. I feel like I needed something in the middle. Also, I couldn’t figure out why the room looked weird with the new lights (hue aside). Then I realized, when you have regular bulbs in your light pots the lighting is more downward and as you get higher towards the ceiling it’s more indirect. This is because regular bulbs are recessed in the ceiling and these flush lights put out more direct light from floor to ceiling. It casts shadows differently and shadows of items in the room are more pronounced. It’s almost hard to exactly explain until you see it. Sort of like the “soap opera” effect you see on newer tvs when the picture is TOO sharp. It’s something that’s easier seen than explained. I’m just not sure these types of flush mount lights are for me.I decided to keep them and a few weeks later the lighting still feels weird/off to me. I can’t get used to it just yet. I hope this helps for anyone that might have these sort of questions about flush mount LED ceiling lights.

A great value for performance, assuming they last a decent time
Pros:- Select the color "temperature" of light that pleases you, 4 settings gives you ugly yellow to stark blueish with just-right likely in the 2 in-between settings.- Plug (or screw-in) and play. Just select the color by switch, connect the lamp to power and pop in place.Cons:- I haven't had any issues with yet.Note:- KNOW YOUR LAMP SIZE! These are 4" lamps, most old installations are 6". I wound up using these in new positions in my house because all my old recessed lamps are 6". Fortunately I had a lot of dim places that I wanted lit up with low-power lamps.

Good idea but...
The installation is not as easy as I was hoping for. While the instructions are clear: remove the old bulb, screw in the fixture, snap in place, what is neglected is that existing recess lights have a housing that has to be removed to be able to snap in place. Removing the housing is no mean feat, especially for the combination of an older house and uncertainty as to how the housing was installed in the first place.

Sunco 12 Pack 4 Inch LED Flat Recessed Light, Retrofit Ceiling Can Lighting
The Sunco 12 Pack 4 Inch LED Flat Recessed Light, Retrofit Ceiling Can Lighting set is exceptional. The quality of each light is excellent. Each retrofit light has 5 color temperature settings which are changed by a slider switch on the backside of the lights. The brightness of each light is amazing! I have 8 recessed lights in our game room. I am currently updating the room and all of the lighting. I wish I had these lights during most of my work because changing to these lights was like turning on the sun! Installation is so simple. After removing the old light bulbs and the trim from my can lights, you simply screw the new lights into the light socket, switch to your chosen color setting, and push up. Done! Amazing quality and value. I am so pleased. A must-have if you want to update your old can lights.

Attractive and efficient
These lights are a super easy replacement for your old incandescing can lights. Simply remove old bulb and trim ring and snap these in place. Simply screwing in the E26 connection will make all the difference in the world to your room lighting. Choose the tone or color of the light by setting switch on back of light before snapping in place. These are more than bright enough and most times a dimmer is desirable.

An easy upgrade
Our old can lights needed a refresh. These LED's are so easy to install, upgrade the lighting, and are energy efficient. Now we don't need to stock bulky extra bulbs in our closet. A win all the way around!

easy install.
This is a great retro fit for getting rid of those expensive and hot flood lights in your recessed fixtures. Get these and save a ton of money on your electric bill. Screw the easy adapter into the light socket, set your color light (cool white, etc., 5 settings) and enjoy.
