Quicken Willmaker & Trust 2025: Book & Online Software Kit

I've had 3 wills drafted by 2 different attorneys over the years and one Willmaker. This is by far the easiest to read and most complete. Instead of being asked 10-20 questions and expected to answer on the spot, I like the much more complete questions and options and the ability to think it over and change answers if needed. The first time I used Willmaker I checked it out from the library. Now, 2-3 years later things have changed and I think it's well worth it to buy it. This is the 'plus' WillMaker and includes the ability to make trusts.

I received my copy of Quicken Willmaker today but there is no way to register it to access the software.The instructions in the manual tell you to go to Willmaker.com/redeem to redeem it by entering a code from the manual but there is no way to do that on the site. It is only an ordering site.Amazon was no help either other than offering credit for the purchase. I don’t want credit. I just want the software I ordered.

So it's literally a book. On the inside of the back cover of the book is a product key. You go to the website (which worked) enter your name and email address and the product key. They email you a link to set up an on-line account. I was done in a matter of minutes without any problems.You can also download the software to your computer, which I did. As for the software itself I've only started using it. However we've used it in the past and it works. We're not really concerned about an all out legal battle over our wills - so it's more just getting down our wishes in something that hopefully is legal.

THE BOOK IS thinner, less pages than previous edition that I bought and no CD is included. You must register with email address to get software....and probably get spammed

Unable to use because the password provided was not correct. I was unable to register and create an account from the password that was emailed to me. Very frustrating. Product returned.

I queried this product page to find out whether this product included Nolo's Starter or Plus plan (it was clear from the product description that it didn't include the All Access plan). I got no answer from Nolo or anyone else from the query on this webpage, so I went directly to Nolo's website and wrote an email to Nolo's customer service asking the same question. More than a week has passed, and I've gotten no answer. So Nolo gets a demerits not only for not clearly specifying here which version of the product it is selling but arguably more importantly having what appears to be poor customer service, which other reviews have noted as well.

I did my estate planning with the 2024 version and was very impressed. Highly-organized, step-by-step interview process, great documents, complete follow-on instructions with what to do next with the documents (signing, witnessing, notarization, recording, etc.), where to keep them, how to change or revoke them if you want - complete lifecycle instructions.I now have to redo some documents due to some changes. I did not hesitate to order the 2025 version - money very well spent. Remember the older days when you paid for and owned the software? This 2025 product will not allow changes after one year, so if your life changes after 13 months of leasing this software, you buy new software to amend.
