I’ve had a dirt cheap spinner luggage for years but it has small single wheels, which are not great on carpet or terrain. It was also missing other features I wanted, such as a built-in TSA lock and good compartment organization.This little luggage fits the bill! Its very roomy, the pockets inside are perfect, the TSA lock seems to work well (though its *slightly* flimsy, I won’t need it often for a carryon), and the big double wheels roll easily over carpet! This is my first time not having an expandable luggage, but to be honest I’ve never actually NEEDED to expand before so I don’t miss it.It has plenty of space for a weekend, and could easily last 1-2 weeks if you pair it with a sensible personal item and do laundry once. I love how lightweight it is!I never check bags, so I can’t tell you how this holds up, but I suspect the wheels aren't up for too much smashing around.

Hefty little carry on! Very sturdy, well thought out design. Highly recommend as a piece to compliment the larger Hanke collection.

I can’t say enough good things about this suitcase! If you’re on the fence about getting it: GET IT! I got the basic carryon and was able to fit everything I needed for a 1-week international trip! By strategically packing, I fit 4 tee shirts, 2 pair of jeans, 2 pair of denim shorts, 3 dresses, 4 blouses, a hair dryer, my toiletries bag, a small crossbody purse, a pair of sneakers, 2 pair of sandals, and a week’s worth of undergarments. The 2 inner pockets are small but came in handy for storing small odds and ends, like hair ties and clips, a mini manicure set, makeup remover wipes and lip balm. Then all I had to put in my personal item was my makeup bag and a book. The material kind of feels cheap but this thing is VERY sturdy and strong. It’s small so it’s easy to carry onto a metro going from the airport to a hotel, and the wheels spin in all directions so it’s very easy to move quickly through busy airports with it. This is the perfect suitcase for even a long trip, it fits way more than you’d think by looking at it. Get it!

I am a committed carry-on only traveler. Since airlines seem to be reducing the allowable size I figured it was time to save myself some worry and downsize my bag. After considerable research I ended up with this bag by Hanke. I've used it several times with no issue. It holds everything I need for a weeks vacation, is very easy to maneuver, and I can easily get it in an overhead bin. This is my first piece of hardsided luggage and I like the ability to lay it flat and separate my items as I see fit. I gave it 4 stars because the design could be improved on - it seems a bit flimsy and I'm not confident it will stand up to frequent use. Easier to grasp handles would be nice for lifting the luggage. That said, I am quite pleased with it for the price I paid especially since I no longer worry about my bag being flagged as too large.

This is a great set for layovers , wheels are smooth for getting to your next flight , this was important to me and it didn’t disappoint. I do love that it locks with your code . Very roomy . Price is not bad

Liked everything about it, especially the Caribbean blue color. It’s very sturdy and well made, swivels so easily and handle works smoothly. For an underseat carryon, it can carry a lot. I have earphones, large I pad, 2 jackets, plus other small extras.

I bought this for 2 trips, one domestic and one international. I just returned from the domestic flight and this case worked very well. It was easy to maneuver, the telescopic handle felt rigid enough and it was nice and light. What surprised me the most was the room inside. I thought that it would be a little tight but I had room to spare. My next trip is international and that will be a tougher workout for this but so far it has passed with flying colors. I will add more when I get back.UpdateJust got back from 2 weeks in Italy. This carry on went through the streets of Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento and passed with flying colors. I had no problem with the airlines and the wheels took the old streets and sidewalks without a problem. I noticed a couple of reviews mentioned zipper problems but I didn't have any. This is a great carry on at a reasonable price!
