Great Lightweight Wetsuit
I bought this to use when riding my PWC when the weather is cool enough to require one, but not quite cold enough for a full 5mm wetsuit. It's comfortable, easy to don, fits well, and looks good. It works great when riding in moderate air temps (60's - 80's) and cool water temps (60's - 70's). I haven't had any issues with chafing (I do use Body Glide around my neck). I've used it a half dozen times so far and it's wearing well, no issues. It's also easy to care for - just rinse in fresh water and hang to dry (not machine washable). I bought the XL size and it fits perfectly (I'm 71" tall, weigh 216, wear 38 waist pants, and have a 45" chest. Remember, the suit has to fit snugly to work well).

Warm and fits like a glove
I like that it has a windproof material on the chest and back as I use this to kitesurf with. Quality is great and I love that I can fold the zipper pull over the velcro strap to make sure the back doesn't unzip during a session. I did go a size larger as other reviews have pointed out and mine fits perfect. So you know, a wetsuit should be like a second skin. snug but not tight. If you can't breath or it is restricting movement you went too small if it is baggy you went to big as this won't keep you warm. Also note these stretch out a bit over time so if at first it is a little tight give it time to break in. Otherwise return before using it and get the size you need.

The Seals Reflect the Quality
I've attached three photos to show the quality of the seals around the openings of the O'Neill Men's Reactor-2 2mm Back Zip Short Sleeve Spring Wetsuit:(1) The 1st photo shows the long single-piece rubber neck. This single-piece design avoids seams that may leak. The smooth rubber layer of the fabric forms a seal around most of my neck.(2) The 2nd photo shows a leg opening. Again the smooth rubber layer of the fabric forms a seal against my leg. My only criticism here is that the diameter of the opening is small and feels tight.(3) The 3rd photo shows the back zipper. Unfortunately, when zipped, the rough fabric layers of the neoprene are making contact in an attempt to form a seal. I would have preferred that the smooth rubber layers are used to form a seal. The photo also shows a loose thread that may jam the zipper. The design and aesthetics of the O'Neill shorty are top notch. I do notice some shortcomings in the zipper seals and tightness in the leg openings. Overall, I believe that it deserves 4 of 5 stars.

Men’s fit
Based on sizing, I felt men’s short would fit better than women’s 12. I ordered both and kept the men’s short. I’m 5’2” and 130 lbs. My waist is bigger proportionally than my hips and thighs, so woman’s was larger in those areas. Men’s short fit better hips and thighs as well as torso length. The bright blue sleeves look much unisex, so another plus to this purchase. The suit seems well-made and should work well for my half dozen dives per year.

buy one size up
I have fat heavy lifter body. 5'11 285lb . Wide shoulders but belly. Usually I'm wearing 2xl but I read comments and took one size up. 3XL fits me like a glove. Feel warm. Exited to try it on a water.

Good product
I am 6 feet tall and 200lbs. I bought the large. The suit fits like a glove. Definitely snug, but I prefer them that way. Good name O'Neill, they have been around for some time and the quality seems good.

Great suit
Best wetsuit I've ever owned. Fit great and actually kept me warmer in the water. I've never had one that worked properly before this one.
