Sterling Silver 1mm Black Leather Cord Rope Chain Necklace 14" 16", 18", 20", 24", 30"

When the necklace arrived, it was exactly what I was looking for but within 10 days the necklace had broken. The chord came away from the silver catch and although I tried to fix it, my attempts were unsuccessful. This was unexpected as I had only worn very light pendants on the necklace and I also didn't sleep in it. For the necklace to cost £8 (I bought the 18" length) and to last only 10 days, it is very disappointing.

Sorry, this just wasn’t up to the mark. This cord rope is very fine, but it was not able to take the most delicate of pendants and it broke, losing the link between the cord and clasp, within a few days of receipt. Fortunately I was indoors when it failed and I didn’t lose my precious pendant, but it could have happened anywhere. I tried mending it but it doesn’t hang properly now and I’m not willing to trust it’s integrity again. Cheap, but ultimately not worth the money.

I bought this for a pendent I had previously bought for my wife. I completely misjudged the size, it is tiny not not fit for what I bought it for. Had the measurements been in imperial I may have realised my mistake.

the lock was broken, sending it backLeather string is thin and that is actually fine.The Lock looks like it will not last long.
