This is an excellent kit with some great tools. I just wish I knew what some of them were! It's not hard to look stuff up, I know. But it's alarming to learn, for example, that you can't use soap to wash the baskets from another source because those instructions weren't included. I would hate to think of the people ruining their set because they didn't know better! This would be a five-star set otherwise! The tools are sturdy and well-made, and the set has plenty of tools to start your baking journey!

I recently got back into making sourdough bread and having this set has made a huge difference. I love the proofing baskets with the liners and that the baskets are different shapes. My dough held it's shape very well and had no issues removing it from the basket. The flour duster was very handy too- it evenly distributed the flour over the bread without getting everywhere. I haven't tried the silicone bread sling yet because it's only rated for 425 degrees and I usually bake my sourdough at 500 but it looks high quality.

I am a new sourdough hobbyist - I've literally only baked 2 loaves of bread so far. This item was an AMZ suggested item, presumably because I've purchased other sourdough-related items like sourdough starter jars and a bread pan. I impulse purchased this solely because of the automated suggestion and because I go all in when I try to learn a new hobby.This package includes 2 proofing baskets and a handful of tools. There are no instructions with this kit so I had no idea what I was doing or what most of the tools are used for specifically (they're listed on the side of the box but again I had to google what a bread lame is). What I feel is most important regarding instructions would be the proper care of the baskets themselves. I had to watch a video on YouTube to find out that you should NEVER wash a banneton basket with soap (I probably wouldn't have done that - I wasn't even sure if you should get it wet). I don't have any idea if or how you should wash the basket liners which spell like a lightweight burlap (I haven't used these yet because I haven't found what you can or should wash them with).I did find the silicone bread sling to be useful but also I didn't notice that one of the handles of the sling flipped onto my bread and you can see how it covered the top of part of my bread and made it brown unevenly. Overall this seems like a good set of items but the onus is on you to know what to do with it.

As someone who is just starting to get into baking, and specifically sourdough, this is a great set to start you out with most of what you need right away. The quality of the items seem good for the price.The two proofing baskets are solid. I haven't used the dough whisk but it feels solid in the hand, and I'll eventually use it but I didn't find it necessary. Both the bread and bowl scraper are nice and very useful. The bread lame, like the dough whisk, feels solid and worked very nicely for me. It comes with extra blades, too. I didn't use the silicone brush but it feels like every silicone brush I've ever owned. The bread sling is something I didn't expect to use but found it very useful but be aware that these have temperate ratings.Overall, like I already mentioned, this is a good set for beginners to get them started with sourdough. It includes most of what you want and at a reasonable price. I'd recommend it.

I haven't used all the piece of this set, but have used the baskets and scoring knife. Works great so far. Only think I'd improve on is the QA for the nails in the baskets. One of them is basically punched in from top down, but riding along the side of the basket. Just have to be careful not to poke yourself. Now since this unit seems hand put together, that might not be consistent with all of them.

This is a very nice kit. As a beginner bread maker, it would be nice to have some instructions with this kit.The kit comes with good quality items.

I am still feeding my sourdough starter, but when it is ready I will have everything to bake it in this kit. There are two proofing baskets for different shaped loaves. They are sturdy and will help the dough rise uniformly. The whisk is also well made. The cloth liners for the baskets are removeable and can be washed.The remaining items don't feel quite as sturdy, but should do a fine job. There is a silicone sling that fits the round loaf for baking in a dutch oven. The lame has extra blades and a faux leather cover to protect me from the sharp blade. The flour duster does a good job of sifting, but it doesn't open and close all that smoothly. There is a silicone brush too, but I prefer my other brushes with natural bristles that spread oil more evenly than the wider silicone bristles do. Lastly, a plastic bowl scraper and a metal dough scraper are strong enough to work the raw dough. Overall, I am pleased with the pieces offered in this all in one kit as I get started baking my own bread at home.
