Birkenstock Women's Lola Ankle Strap Sandals

First i ordered my normal size (38) normal width, they were huge and moved around too much, so I returned them and bought a 37 narrow fit.Although much better, they have a weird ridge which is suppsed to be between the toes and the ball of the foot. It serves no purpose except punish me with blisters on the bottom of my big toes. Maybe my toes are to long? I hope others have better luck/ right sized toes.

I had a pair of very similar Birkenstock sandals and they were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever had and they went with everything. So when I saw this pair at such a good price I couldn't resist

Fit is a little wide, if you have a narrow foot I would suggest getting one size down from you normal size. Otherwise great shoes!!

I have problems with sandals as I have a high instep and v little grip and find normal birkenstocks too wide and too flat. I was afraid the straps of these would be too short as is often the case. They were indeed short (what’s wrong with adding a cm for people like me?)but the footbed seemed perfect for my foot so I decided to take them to a shoe repair shop to see what he could do. He put extra holes in the straps and they now fit perfectly. They’re great to walk in - the heel looks good but they feel like flat shoes - and keep my feet cool. I’m normally a 37 and the size 4 fitted fine.

Nice and comfy, fit as expected and quality good.

Too narrow

These are seriously comfy sandals, so comfy I’ve already been on the Birkensock website to see if there’s anything with a similar footbed in a covered shoe for cooler weather.I checked my size on the website too, with my foot measurements I probably could have got away with a size smaller, it was very accurate but I opted for my usual size, it’s only slightly too big but I’d rather that than have my toes hang over the fronts.

I absolutely swear by Birkenstock/Papillio shoes, so I was very glad to find a comfy pair that's elegant enough for a wedding. They're a bit loose across the foot on the non-adjustable straps, but I have very narrow feet, and they're fine for the purpose I got them for.
