It works great, every once in a while it will be a degree hotter or colder than I set it but that’s due to room temperature. To set it hold the ‘set’ button down for 3 seconds, the temp will flash, then use arrows to change temperature to warmer or cooler then simply press the set button again once and it will set that temp and work its way to it. It’s not an instant temp change!

So I have an unused dorm style fridge that has now become my proofing station for sourdough bread. I had purchased another reptile pad without a thermostat and couldn’t rely on the temperature staying where I needed it. I found this one with the thermostat and it has been perfect. I also love that you don’t have to stick this to a surface. Fits perfectly on the little wire shelf and the heat stays exactly where I need it.

I gave this 4 stars. The pad heats up fine and does what it promised, for the most part. The problem is with the sticky factor. Maybe I got one that had been in the warehouse for a long time or something, but the backing did not want to peal off the sticky, so it ended up sticking to the backing better than the pad and it even tore in some areas. Once I finally got all of the sticky off the backing and onto the pad I positioned it on the terrarium where Wyvern, our bearded dragon, likes to lounge. The next morning I went in to see how he is enjoying the new heat pad and saw that it had come unstuck. Only about 1/2 of the sticker was still holding the pad in place and the heat pad was hanging away from the glass. The pad does get hot and does warm the inside, but they would do well to improve the sticky element.

So far it seems to be working well. Bought to replace our previous mat that didn't have a thermostat and lost it's stickiness to stay on the side of the enclosure.The only annoyance is that it flashes while it adjusts the temperature, sometimes for a long time. It may be user error. I have it set just a couple of degrees different between high and low temps. It's way stickier (so far) than our previous may, which is great

I really liked this item, it works well. Just follow the directions and you’ll be fine. I wouldn’t recommend using it as the main heat source though because it doesn’t heat up the entire tank. It’ll only heat up the spot you put the mat. Overall, this is not a bad product.

Works great on my pvc tank. I attached the heating pad to the underneath of the tank and placed the thermostat on the inside of the tank right over the heating pad. Heats up very quickly. I would purchase this again

Heats up quickly and adheres well (must peel of both sides of paper off the tape). I wish I would have bought the thermostat one since the dial has no markings, but I'm trying to get it figured out by making my own marks. Edit: It won't keep up the temp. House stays the same temp and the tank temperature keeps having 4-7° swings. It won't stay consistent at all.

literally didn’t get hot AT ALL. way to expensive to not work. the thermometer was good i guess. i returned after a week of allowing it to try to heat up.
