Worked ok for my application
I was threading down a 6 inch portable AC vent to a 5 inch tube. Works OK but there was definitely some air leakage. Added a ton of duct tape to make sure it was airtight and it works just fine. Duct tape is cheap so no big deal, but don't expect it to be airtight right out of the box.
