Worked like a charm my cable was only like two feet though so I had to wrap it a couple times but hey it worked the only issue I found is with my aftermarket air filter the way the cable end is for the carb it comes in contact with my cone filter but I was able to modify so it was out of the way of my filter

Needed some new twist throttle grips for a project minibike I'm working on, and decided to grab thesez as they seemed like they'd work. Unfortunately, while they are very simple, the build quality lets them down a ton. The grips and throttle cable are fine, but the housing that the twist throttle sits in is extremely soft, flimsy plastic. Combine that with the two fasteners being on one side of the housing, and it means when you tighten everything down, the housing opens up on the throttle side, causing binding, so a worst case scenario, it causes a stuck throttle. If that housing was either metal, or had a different arrangement for the screws that close it, it wouldn't be terrible, but as is, it's kinda useless.
